That latest victory earned the three-year old daughter of National Emblem a hefty seven pound penalty but she is clearly on the up and will have more to offer on her peak showing.

The Euan’ Me formline was boosted when Bia’s Blue Eye triumphed over a mile on this track last Monday and today’s top selection, ARIZONA SUN, represents that outing here. The daughter of Greys Inn has shown promise in this province and she quickly bounced back to form when running on for 2nd in the above-mentioned event despite being poorly drawn. This shorter trip should suit her well and she has huge claims from a good barrier.

The speedy filly ROCK A BYE BABY tired late when she attempted six furlongs in a feature last time and she would have recovered from those exertions during her 12 week break. Of course the five furlong specialist was defeated just once (short head loss to CARIBBEAN BAY) from six c & d efforts prior to that and she can resume winning ways today. She meets the latter on 2kgs better terms.

The top weight and class entrant DODGY ITIE had legitimate excuses for his moderate last showing in much stronger company seven days ago but his conditioner is obviously pleased with his progress since. The bay gelding had some useful form prior to that, including capturing the Classic over this c & d as a juvenile prior to suffering a major setback. His two comeback sprints showed his well-being and he could be hard to beat on best form despite the hefty burden.
