To enter, all you need to do is play R10 or more on horse racing in store and dial *120*46559*1*ticketnumber# to enter. You can also enter online using your Hollywoodbets account and your entry will be automatically entered.
Cut off time for USSD entries is 23:59 on 31 July 2018.
Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the competition and have a valid (FICA Compliant) Hollywoodbets account.
Betting ticket numbers can only be used within the promotion period i.e. bets taken between 25 May 00:00 – 31 July 2018 23:59.
A customer must place a horseracing bet to the minimum value of R10, on his/her online or phone – a bet betting account to be entered automatically or play in a Hollywoodbets branch for R10 or more and dial *120*46559*1*ticketnumber# to enter, in order to qualify for the weekly draw.
Every Horseracing bet for R10 or more, will be counted as an additional entry. All entries will be carried forward to the grand prize draw. Entries are not limited.
The grand prize winner at the end of the competition will be chosen from the overall pool of entrants.
For every qualifying bet of R10 or more on horseracing, the punter will be eligible for the weekly prize of R10 000 (for that week only) as well as the grand prize of R100 000.
Winners will be drawn weekly, every Friday from the 1 June 2018.
The prizes include R10 000 cash each week for 10 weeks within the competition period and a grand prize of R100 000 on the 1st of August 2018. The winner will be called on his/her cell phone. If the contestant does not answer within 24 hours then another valid entry may be drawn and selected as the winner.
All horse racing bets including single bets, multiple bets, exotic bets and all multiples including a minimum of one leg involving horse racing, will qualify for the draw.
The cash winners need to have a valid South African bank account in order to claim the prize.
The cash winners need to provide us with a bank statement (not older than 3 months) and a copy of their Identity Document / Passport in order to claim the prize.
Cash prizes will be transferred by electronic funds transfer into winners’ nominated bank accounts within 30 days from the date of receipt of the winner’s correct banking details and a copy of the winner’s identity document/passport.
Cash winners have 5 business days from being contacted, to submit their banking details and a copy of their identity document to Hollywoodbets to claim their prize, otherwise the prize will be forfeited.
By entering the competition, you agree:
a. that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition; and
b. to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners.
17. The winners agree to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.
Hollywoodbets and its authorized agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or its authorized agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets or its authorized agents.
Every contestant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the rules by virtue of their participation.
This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or their marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all of the above.
By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
