Race 3
FIRST FOOTMAN has finished second in his last two runs, the latest when 2.5L behind the winner over 1500M. From draw four, he looks to be the one that they all have to beat. HIGHBURY showed good improvement last time out when fourth over the mile. He is drawn one from the outside, but could be the biggest danger to the top choice. AUSBRED L’OR is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she showed improvement last time out over 1500M when returning from a 23-week break. She will have her work cut out for her drawn the widest of them all, but she should give the males a good run for their money. TODWICK is also a 3yr old filly, but she has a kinder two gate and should be doing her best work over the closing stages.

Race 5
THRIVE IN THE HOME has consistent formlines to his credit and was only beaten a head last time out over 1300M and will be hoping to go one better today. He has cracked pole position to aid his cause. MONTANA THUNDER is drawn one outside the former and showed good improvement last time out when third over five furlongs, just under two lengths behind the winner. KISSMYHANDDADDY was not disgraced when finishing 2.1L behind the winner when making his debut over 1100M. He is drawn wide at gate ten, but he would have learnt from the experience and with the natural improvement that can be expected, he should be involved in the finish here. KISS AND TELL is a 4yr old filly taking on males, but she was not too far back last time out over this distance and should be a factor today.

Race 6
BROOK HILL is lightly raced having only had the two runs, but he did win over 1300M at the second time of asking and could be almost anything. He drops in trip and has a wide eight draw, but he could be up to the task on hand. LANCASTER BOMBER followed up his penultimate start victory over six furlongs with a solid performance next time out over 1300m. He is drawn even wider out at eleven, but he could still be the immediate danger to the top choice. RUTHLESS AGENT drops back in trip from the seven furlongs of his last outing, but was only narrowly beaten in his penultimate start over this distance and rates a danger here. SKYRAY, on the other hand, steps up in trip today, but may do better as a result.

Race 7
LORD TROPICANA has recorded two solid efforts over 2100M and may well be looking for this greater test of stamina. KELVINSIDE has consistent staying form to his name. He is drawn fifteen out of the sixteen runners, but gets ex-South African jockey Glyn Schofield in the irons, so will get all the necessary assistance from the saddle. JOE’S JOY is a 6yr old mare taking on some hard-hitting males, but she won her latest outing over ten furlongs and should keep the boys honest. GUNALUVA won his maiden race last time out over 2300M and although taking on stronger here, he should be included in all bets.

Race 8
SALINA DREAMING is a 3yr old filly taking on boys, but she only missed out on her hat-trick last time out when beaten a head over 1100M. She attracted plenty of betting support that day and will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways here, despite being drawn the widest of them all. RIFLES is seldom far off the action and finished fourth last time out over 1100m, only 1.6L behind the winner. He is sure to enjoy the drop in trip today. TALLIS is a speedy sort who has finished 1.2L back in his last two starts over this distance. From his handy three gate, he should be right up there in the dash down to the wire. ADVANCE PARTY is a 3yr old filly who showed plenty of toe last time out when holding on for victory over the five furlongs. She has drawn eleven, but should use that early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy.

Race 5
SALORSCI has consistent form to his credit and won his last outing over seven furlongs by nearly three lengths. He has drawn wide at gate ten, but he should be doing his best work late and may prove difficult to topple here. HONEYWINE returns from a 22-week rest and not had the benefit of a barrier trial, but has cracked pole position. He did win his last run over 1300M before the break and if not too much in need of the outing, he could trouble the top pick. ZABELARINA is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys. She has her first run since a 14-week rest, but missed out on completing her hat-trick before the break and will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways today. OUR FREE SPIRIT has shown gradual improvement in his last two outings and should be considered for minor money.

Race 6
MISS HAYWORTH had her consistency rewarded when winning her maiden race last time out over 1100M. She takes on stronger today, but has drawn gate two and looks to be the value in the race. LEVERAGED missed out on her hat-trick last time out when stepping up to 1300M after two wins over this distance. She is drawn wideish at eight, but she looks to be the immediate danger to the former. POOR SAM will be looking to repeat her penultimate effort when second over the six furlongs to bring herself into this contest. She is drawn eleven out of thirteen, but she should be making good late progress in the latter stages. YOUL THRASHEM won her last start over 1100M by a half-length when returning from a 16-week rest. She may be good enough to capture the double here.

Race 7
EL PHOENIX followed up his half-length loss in his penultimate start over this distance with a length victory over the seven furlongs next time out. He has gate six to jump from and should be right up there when they hit the line. MIROKU has pulled pole position and is seldom far off the action. He is sure to put in another honest performance today. BLACK AND TAN is a 5yr old mare taking on boys, but she won her penultimate start over six furlongs and then was staying on well when second, 1.5L off the winner in her next outing. She is sure to ensure that the males know that they have been in a race. BATTLE MASTER drops back in trip after finishing third last time out over 1500M, but from gate four, this should not be an issue.

Race 8
OUR WIND SPIRIT returns from a lengthy 47-week break from racing and has not had a barrier trial, so his fitness will have to be taken on trust. He does, however, go for his hat-trick and if not too much in need of the run, this is very much on the cards. HIDDEN CHARM is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she has consistent form to her name and did post a second-place finish over this c&d last time out. Her gate ten is a slight concern, but with a bit of luck in running, she should be involved in the finish. CRUIZIE CAPTAIN followed up his victory over this distance with two solid efforts over the same trip and should makes his presence felt in this line-up. BACKPEDAL is a 3yr old filly who has her first run after a 34-week rest and no barrier trial. She also has a very wide draw to negotiate, but she should be picking off the frontrunners over the latter stages of the race.

Race 6
With the late scratching of a the only unraced entrant (who had put up a solid barrier trial), the way may be cleared for BOLSHOI GAL to secure her maiden victory. She is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she showed good improvement when finishing second last time out over six furlongs, just a half-length behind the winner and jumping from gate two, she could be the one to side with here. SNIPSAWAY returns from a 16-week rest and has his first run for his new trainer. If fully settled into his new surroundings, he could challenge the top choice. LIES ‘N’ DECEPTION will be looking to repeat his effort three runs back when finishing third over this c&d, just 1.4L off the winner. On that performance, he should be involved in the finish here. SUN CHACEN returns from an 18-week rest and no barrier trial, but he drops back in trip from his last outing over seven furlongs and may do better as a result.

Race 7
SUPER TEROITOA showed good improvement in his last two runs, culminating with a 1.8L victory last time out over 1300M. He has to negotiate a wide draw of twelve, but on the plus side, he will get 3kgs taken off his back thanks to his claiming apprentice. CAERHELAN is a 4yr old filly taking on males. She returns after a 17-week break and has not had the benefit of a barrier trial. On some of her better form however, she should be right up there when they hit the line. SWEET STRAWBERRY is a 3yr old filly who has her first start since a 16-week break. She drops in trip here from the 1500M of her last outing and should be doing her best work late. PARISA is a 5yr old mare who improved in her last run over this trip and if she has continued down that same path, she could be a factor today.

Hollywoodbets Back on Track Punters' Challenge

Race 8
Three fillies and a mare look like they will dominate the finish of this race and complete the quartet. The narrow first pick goes to DAISHIO who is seldom far back from the winner and is likely to be running on strongly in the closing stages of the contest. She will have 3kgs removed from her allocated weight courtesy of her claiming apprentice to assist her cause. LIL’ RED BIKINI has shown steady improvement in her last two outings and has the early gate speed to get across from her eleven draw without using up too much energy. PERCEIVE has put in two encouraging last two efforts over the six furlongs and should be included in all bets. AFLICA’S GIRL is the 5yr old mare who has shown enough form in the past to make her a runner in this event.

Race 9
ROMAN FLIRT has an attempt at winning four on the bounce after she completed her hat-trick last time out over the c&d. She is a 4yr old filly taking on males, but the manner in which she has accounted with her opposition in the past would suggest that the quartet of victories is very much within her reach. VINTAGE STOCK is also a 4yr old filly. She was a little disappointing last time out over 2100M, but gets a set of blinkers fitted for the first time today. If these have the desired effect, she may be able to trouble the top choice. TWENTYTHREE RED finished a creditable second last time out over ten furlongs and will have the services of a 3kg claiming apprentice. QUINTARO has put in two solid runs over staying distances and will be hoping to continue that trend here.

Race 10
STARALIGN is seldom too far off the action and finished second last time out over seven furlongs. He is drawn in gate six and is expected to deliver another honest effort yet again. UNCLE DICK won on debut over seven furlongs and takes a hike in distance, but he would have come on with the run under his belt and despite having to deal with a nine draw, he should be involved in the finish here. IRRITABLE RODNEE has solid recent form and has secured pole position. He should be respected in this field. COUSIN IVAN is another who won first time out, this time over 1300M. He too takes a step up in trip, but if suited to the extra ground, he should be right up there in the mix.
