Soft underfoot conditions are expected and the best bet is BREAUTE in Race 2. She narrowly failed in her debut effort when beaten by just a head and she can make amends this afternoon.

Race 1
No form to recommend in the opener. ATSANA is a juvenile filly by Oasis Dream out of Ashiqana. Any support in the market for her needs to be respected. HARDANCE wasn’t a cheap purchase and if fully tuned up she may have the scope to go on and win this contest for two-year-olds. GOT LUCK is a daughter of Belardo out of Pastiches and she could come into the race if fully fit and well.
Race 2
BREAUTE is the best bet on the card. She was only just pipped by a head on debut at Angers and will come on leaps from the experience. She found plenty support that day which would suggest that she was showing impressive work back at home and she must have a big chance in this field, despite her wide draw. ZEALANDIA is coming along the right way and he will benefit from a 2.5kgs claiming apprentice in the irons. ART MAN is drawn wide but he was only beaten by three and a half lengths on debut. He will come on from that debut experience and can run into the places of this Maiden for three-year-olds.
Race 3
TOULPAR placed fourth last time out on a slow track over nine furlongs and he will benefit from a 1.5kgs apprentice allowance. If he can see out the final furlong of this contest he should go very close in this contest. CALVI JELOIS definitely needed that last start when she was well-beaten. Guillochon retains the ride and expect the pair to finish much closer. WINMAN IN GREY placed fourth last time out when beaten by Incampo and he his having his third run after a rest.
Race 4
HALLATIENNE narrowly failed on debut over a slightly longer distance and even though she jumps from a wide barrier, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure very soon. She found plenty support on her debut which would suggest she was showing some potential back at home. HELLO DES MOTTES is another one who had plenty follower’s on debut when placing third at Durtal and he looks the obvious threat to the top selection. HARMONIE STAR was only beaten two and a half lengths on debut by Holly at Vichy and if coming on from that effort, will go close to winning this contest.
Race 5
DANSES CAVALIERES backed-up favourite punters last time out when she put nine and half lengths between herself and Man D’anjou. She carries 3kgs more on her back today but can make it back-to-back triumphs in the type of class. HOME SWEET HOME possibly needed that last outing at Saint-Cloud and will strip a much fitter filly for this contest. BARSHAM often does his best work late and he will be making headway in the latter stages of this handicap.
Race 6
FOREVER COCO is drawn best of all and she has placed in her last two starts. She will also benefit from a 1.5kgs apprentice allowance and looks a huge runner in this contest. RED CLOUD wasn’t disgraced in her comeback effort at Dieppe over a trip short of her best and she will strip a much fitter filly today. ZAYA DE LA PLATA is another one that was just off them at the wire in her comeback run and she shoulders a handy galloping mass for this handicap.
Race 7
GRANITIERE put thirty lengths between herself and the runner-up on this track last time out and will be tough to beat in bringing that type of form into this race. GUYANO BELLO only won by one and a half lengths in his comeback effort but looks the biggest danger to the top selection. GUILI GUILI is held by the top selection on her latest but can run into the places once again.
Race 8
DORALOU DES BORDES was only beaten by three lengths in his comeback effort and will strip a much fitter horse for this contest. He will also benefit from a 2kgs apprentice allowance. The grey CAMELION placed third in his comeback effort and even though he was well-beaten that day, he looks like a strong contender the opener. JEJEKARAD returns from a rest today and is much better than his last effort suggests. If recapturing his prior form, then he can run into the places.
