Race 3
COMMAND’N’CONQUER is three for three and the manner in which he has dispatched his opposition to complete his hat-trick would suggest that he will be very difficult to topple here. ELIXIR returns from a 23 week break, but has had the benefit of a barrier trial. He had completed his hat-trick before a disappointing next start and was immediately rested after that performance. He could be the biggest threat to the former. DESERT MAN has cracked pole position. He was extremely disappointing last time out over six furlongs, but does drop back to five furlongs where his form is way better. GO DEEP also drops back in trip and gets a set of blinkers fitted for the first time today. If these have the desired effect, he should be involved in the finish.

Race 4
OUR STORMY GIRL is a filly taking on the boys. She is a speedy sort who will be looking to complete her hat-trick today after reeling off two wins over this distance. From pole position, this is very much on the cards. THE DRINKS CART has his first run since a 17 week rest during which time he was gelded. He did however win his barrier trial to prove this fitness. SPIRIT ONE is also a filly who drops back in distance and has a wide draw to overcome, but on the plus side, she will get 3kgs taken off her back thanks to her claiming apprentice. FOXY RIPPA makes her debut here, but she did win her only barrier trial. Any betting support for her should be respected.

Race 5
The fillies/mares look as if they should dominate the finish to this race by completing the quartet. JOLIETTE secured her hat-trick when winning last time out over a mile and whilst she steps up to nine furlongs and has a wide gate of twelve to negotiate, she is likely to be doing her best work late and may be able to complete the quartet of victories. SEENTOOMANY is another who goes the extra, but she was making good late progress last time out over 1300m and might just be looking for this greater test of stamina. CHILLY CHA CHA on the other hand drops in trip after a solid performance last time out over eleven furlongs. Based on her penultimate outing over this c&d, she should be considered in this line-up. JOYMAKER is up in trip after finishing third last time out over a mile. She is not without a chance today.

Race 6
MARMARIS won his last outing over 1300M when friendless in the betting market, but he has his peak run here and looks to be the value in the race, despite a wide draw. SEENTOOMANY is a 4yr old filly taking on males, but she is seldom too far off the action. She did finish sixth last time out over 1300M, but she was just one length behind the winner. She jumps from draw two and should be respected here. FOMO steps up in distance, but will be aided by having 2kgs removed from his allocated weight courtesy of his claiming apprentice. MANIAS is another who gets the services of a 2kg claiming appie. He showed marked improvement last time out over the c&d and if confirming that effort, he should be considered a danger.

Race 7
SPIRIT ESPRIT has put in two solid performances over this c&d, winning his latest. He has pulled pole position and will be hoping to put that to good use to secure a quick double. MISHANI BLOSSOM is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she finished third last time out, 1.2L behind the winner over the c&d and should put in another honest performance today. ASTRALIS is another 3yr old filly. She put six and a half lengths between herself and the balance of the field when winning her maiden race last time out over 1300M. She is drawn one from the outside and takes on stronger here, but she should not be lightly dismissed. MONTEZ has consistent formlines to his credit and from his mid-field draw, he should be involved in the finish here.

Race 8
FREDDIE FOX TROT has shown steady improvement in his last three outings, culminating with a victory last time out over six furlongs. He steps up in trip and is drawn the widest, but he likes to race handy in his races and should be able to work his way across without using up too much energy. IN HIS STRIDE won a neck last time out over the c&d when finding no betting support. He clearly is a better track horse than he is at home and from his three draws, he should be right up there in the mix. GREY MISSILE has consistent form to his name. He steps up from six furlongs of his last out, but he should put in another honest performance today. FIRST HAND is another who goes the extra ground, but he stayed on in his last outing over six furlongs and on that display, he should be right at home over the 1300M.

Race 9
An open looking contest ends today’s program and some caution is suggested. The very tentative choice goes to RAMTASTIC who showed good improvement last time out when going six furlongs. His draw has been helped by the late scratchings in the race and he will now jump from gate nine. MY BELLY BUTTON won his last start over five furlongs despite having to be checked in the running. He should have no problem stepping up to six furlongs. POTRO DURO is drawn one outside the top choice and improved in his last two outings when dropping to six furlongs, winning his latest by one length. He should be right up there in the dash down to the line. COMMISSIONER drops down from 1500M of his last outing when finishing just over a half-length behind the winner. He attracted plenty of betting support that day and will be looking to make amends here. The blinkers get re-fitted and he could do better as a result.
