Race 2
SPACEBOY returns from a 13-week rest, but he has solid form to his name and trotted up when winning his barrier trial. Unless any of the three unraced entrants are well above average, he should win this event. KITTYHAWK FLYER is a filly taking on the boys, but she did only finish a length behind the winner when making her debut over five furlongs. She was friendless in the betting market that day, but would have come on from that outing and could threaten the former. NO DOUBT A STAR has improved with racing and was 1.9L behind the winner in his last start over this distance. DOCTOR MANCINI has his first start here after two solid barrier trials. Any betting support for him should be respected.

Race 3
Two unraced runners could dominate the finish to this race after putting in encouraging barrier trials. The betting should be the best guide, but the marginal first pick goes to SAN ANTONIO who is unbeaten in both of his trials. If not too green, he should be right up there when they hit the line. HOOPLA is a filly taking on males, but she has won all four of her barrier trials and could be almost anything. STRATEGIST returns from a 20-week rest, but has had the benefit of a barrier trial. He finished two lengths behind the winner when making his debut over five furlongs before the break and should be respected here. EITHER OAR is a filly who was just over two lengths behind when having her first outing over this c&d. She is drawn ten out of the eleven runners and might have to settle for a minor place.

Race 4
DIVINE ELEVEN showed good improvement last time out when stepping up to 1300M despite having to be steadied in the latter stages of the race. From his handy draw and with a trouble-free passage, he could be the one to side with here. FIRST FOOTMAN has his first run after a 38-week break but has had two barrier trials. He put in a solid effort over 1500M last time out before the rest after two runs over ten furlongs. On that effort, he should be respected today. REBEL BRO was not disgraced in his last outing over this trip and from draw six, he should not be overlooked. COL’S LAW is a 2yr old taking on older horses, but he showed marked improvement last time out over the c&d. A set of blinkers get fitted for the first time today and if these have the desired effect, he could be involved in the finish.

Race 5
HIRONDELLE is a 2yr old taking on older horses, but she has only had the two runs to date and showed the expected improvement last time out. If she has continued along that same path, she could be the one to beat here. SEND ME WILD finished fifth on debut over 1300M, three lengths off the winner. She would have benefited from having the run under her belt and could prove to be the biggest threat to the former. MYZABOOM showed improvement second time out over six furlongs and if taking to the extra ground, she should be right up there in the mix. ANY WISH will be hoping to put a disappointing last run behind her and bounce back to the form that could see her threaten the top three selections.

Race 6
ALCHERMES is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she goes for her hat-trick today and from draw four this is very much on the cards. She does try the extra ground, but she stayed on well to win her last outing over seven furlongs suggesting that this should not be an issue. BULLET FLY was only beaten a head last time out over seven furlongs and is drawn one inside the former. He could rival the first choice for top honors. GREEK HERO has his first run in Australia but has put in two encouraging barrier trials. The betting may be the best guide as to his chances. EL COYOTE stayed on well in his last outing when finishing second over seven furlongs. He was returning from a 33-week break and if not in need of one more run, he should be considered in this field.

Race 7
SNITZIFY was not far back over 1100M when returning from an 18-week rest. He won his penultimate outing over this distance and from draw two, he should be right up there in the firing line. MISS SURE SHOT is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she has consistent formlines to her credit and should put in another honest performance here. CHANTING is another 3yr old filly. She is drawn the widest of them all, but she should be picking off the frontrunners at the business end of affairs. MISSILE HEAT won on debut over 1100M. He takes on more ground and stronger today, but he would have learnt from the experience and with the natural improvement that can be expected, he could be up to the task on hand.

Race 8
CHARLIE’S LAW was not disgraced in his last start over 1500M when returning from a 26-week break and if not needing one more run, he should be involved in the finish here. WE COULD BE HEROES is seldom too far back behind the winner and finished just over two lengths adrift last time out over this distance. GOLWEN steps up in distance from his last outing over six furlongs where he was just 1.6L behind the victor. From his handy draw, he should not be discounted in this contest. RENALOT is a 4yr old filly taking on males. She won her last start over this trip and although drawn wide at gate twelve, she likes to race up with the pace and may be able to use that early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy.
