Race 1

TAJMALI is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she has her hat-trick attempt here and although dropping in trip, the trio of wins looks very much on the cards. LEICA JAGUAR has consistent formlines to his credit and has the blinkers removed for today’s run and could do better as a result. CUBALLING missed out on his hat-trick last time out over five furlongs when returning from a 22-week break. He will be looking to bounce back to winning ways today. DEW WEST is another 3yr old filly. She is seldom too far off the action and is likely to put in another honest performance here.

Race 2

CONDOR HEROES is on a hat-trick after winning his last two starts over this distance. The way he has dismissed his opposition in those two victories would suggest that this is well within his reach. GUNS OF NAVARONE has solid form and won his last start over five furlongs and could be the biggest danger to the former. HOBOKEN was just under two lengths behind the winner last time out over five furlongs and should be involved in the finish. FIRE AND RAIN showed some improvement in his last outing over this distance and should be considered here.

Race 3
DUNBAR won over six furlongs on debut and has a handy four gate. He would have come on with the run under his belt and may prove hard to topple today. CHANTORQUE is a filly taking on males, but she also won on debut over five furlongs. She renews her rivalry with LONG MAY YOU RUN who finished 1.8L behind the former in their last clash. He is 1kg better off at today’s weights, but this is unlikely to be enough for that result to be reversed. BORN TO RULE is a filly who makes her debut here after winning both of her barrier trials. Any betting support for her should be respected.

Race 4
WINDSTORM returns from a 32-week rest but won his barrier trial to prove his fitness. He had won both of his runs to date before the break and will be looking to complete the hat-trick today. CAPTAIN KINK finished second last time out over this distance, just 0.8L behind the winner. From draw two, he could trouble the former. AMELIA’S CONTRAIRE is a 3yr old filly taking on boys, but she was narrowly beaten when heavily backed last time out and despite the widest draw of them all, she should not be overlooked in this line-up. INDIAN PACIFIC has his first run since an 18-week break. He missed out on his hat-trick last time out over five furlongs and will be hoping to get back to winning ways here.

Race 5
TAWNY PETE comes back from a 12-week rest. He has consistent form to his name and won his last start from gun to wire. He is likely to attempt the same tactics here and may prove difficult to reel in over the closing stages. MISS FROST is a 4yr old filly taking on males, but she finished well to win her last start over five furlongs and should enjoy going the extra ground. DOUBLE BUBBLE is also a 4yr old filly who won her last outing over the six furlongs despite being friendless in the betting market. She has cracked pole position which she is sure to put to good use. STAR GLITTER missed out on his hat-trick last time out over this trip but will be hoping to bounce back to winning ways today.

Race 6
KENDEL’S MEE DAD rattled off three wins on a trot, the latest being over this distance. From a handy gate four, he is not without a chance of completing the quartet. He will however face tough opposition from FIRESALE who has posted solid overall form to his name and who won his last outing over 1500M. COSTA DEL SANTO steps up in trip after failing by just a half-length last time out over 1500M when attracting plenty of betting support. TOLLMAN drops from the nine furlongs of his last start to a more suitable mile journey and should not be discounted here.

Race 7
FESTIVAL MISS is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she has solid form over seven furlongs and if able to transfer that to the mile, she looks to be the one to side with today. Her draw eleven is of concern, but she is expected to put in another honest performance today. GATES OF BABYLON has his hat-trick attempt here and from gate three, he looks to be the immediate threat to the former. LORENTINIO has consistent formlines to his credit and although drawn one inside the top pick, he should be right up there when they hit the line. PARADISE SQUARE steps up in trip after finishing eighth last time out over seven furlongs, but he should be making late progress in the latter stages of the contest.

Race 8
ABDICATOR returns from a 25-week break but did put in a solid barrier trial to prove his well-being. His overall form is solid and from draw four, he will be looking to cause the upset here. ANGELIC RULER is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she has gate three and should appreciate the extra ground on offer today. MAN BOOKER missed out on his hat-trick when 3.2L behind the victor last time out over six furlongs. He does have a wide draw of fourteen to negotiate but should be included in all bets. THE VELVET KING showed marked improvement last time out when finishing a head behind the winner over six furlongs. If he has continued down that same path, he should be right up there in the mix.

Race 9
The top three picks renew their rivalry today, this time over eleven furlongs and the outcome may well rest on who handles the extra distance the best. PICTURE PERFECT finished 0.2L in front of DIVINE SHADOW in their last clash over 2100M and is 2.5kgs better off at today’s weights and should be able to confirm that result here. RIVALRY GALORE was just 0.7L behind the second choice in that same race and is 3kgs better off at the weights. He is, however, drawn out at nine, whereas the latter has pole position. There should not be much separating the trio today. KIA ORA STAR won his last start over nine furlongs when friendless in the betting market. He should not be too easily dismissed.
