RACE 1
PEGASUS GLORY finished runner-up on debut at this track over the minimum trip. That effort was behind a talented sort in the form of Prince Of Gems when only beaten 0,5L at the wire. He now has to race around the bend but he jumps from an inside barrier position and with the expected natural improvement, he should be a tough nut to crack in the opening contest. SPRINT FORWARD showed signs of needing his comeback effort but if he can overcome his wide draw without using too much energy then he can pose a threat to the top selection. WHISKEY NEAT is held by the top selection on his latest but meets his rival 1kgs better off at the weights, which may be enough to turn the tables.

RACE 2
HAPPY SEBRING has won over 2200m and should have no stamina issues over this type of distance. He returns from a break which is a slight concern but if he is fit and well he will take a power of beating from his inside barrier position. VINCY is held by the top selection on his last run. He returns from the paddock today though and the break may have done him the world of good. LONDON HALL is drawn best of all and is c&d suited. He wasn’t disgraced returning from a break last season when only beaten 2.75L by Such A Happiness and has obvious claims in the second race.
RACE 3
NATURAL STORM returns off the back of an impressive victory in this class. That triumph was over 1800m which suggests that he will see out the mile comfortably today. He jumps from an inside draw and must be respected with Chad Schoefield in the irons. GOOD DAYS was beaten by the top selection in his last outing. He now meets his conqueror 3.5kgs better off at the weights for a 1.5L defeat which should be enough to reverse the result. STARSHIP made an eye-catching comeback effort on this track. He finished runner-up behind Family Leader and if stripping fitter then he can run into the money.

RACE 4
LUCKY QUALITY made a positive return at Happy Valley when he only found one better in the form of Hercules. He is still on the upgrade and should come on nicely with that recent effort under the belt. HERO STAR wasn’t disgraced in his last outing when beat 3.5L by Winston’s Lad. It must be noted the form of that race has been franked and he should be able to challenge if reproducing his form. EVERYONE’S DELIGHT is a gelding by El Roca making his debut. He won a trial race impressively on the Sha Tin All-Weather track and the booking of Zac Purton suggests there is plenty more to come from this individual.
RACE 5
SKY FIELD is a major talent on the rise. His conditioner may have bigger plans for him this season which suggests he should reel off the hat-trick of wins. He deservedly shoulders top weight in this contest and looks the best bet on the card. HIGH RISE SOLDIER was only beaten 1.1L by The Runner at Happy Valley last time out. He looks well-placed in this contest and may be able to throw out a challenge to the top selection. TAKE WHAT YOU NEED finished 3rd behind Metro Warrior who struggled to frank the form but if repeating that type of effort then he can run into the places.
RACE 6
MONEYMORE backed up his favourite status in fine style at this track last time when defeating TELECOM MISSILE by 0.5L. He should up come on nicely from that effort and rates a strong contender once again. TELECOM MISSILE is now 2kgs better off at the weights for that narrow defeat and that is definitely enough to turn the tables. THE ABRAXAS is drawn wide in this contest. The run that catches the eye is when he finished third behind Sky Field and reproduction of that effort can see him run into the money.
RACE 7
GOLD CHEST is enjoying sprinting again. He got up where it matters most last time out on this track to defeat Team Spirit by a nose. He rises in class but looks well-weighted with just 51kgs on his back. BIG PARTY was only beaten a neck last time out in a Grade 3 event. He runs well with Zac Purton in the saddle and looks the biggest danger to the top selection. JOLLY BANNER is a dual Grade 3 winner. He faces a tougher task today but has the credentials to run into the money.

RACE 8
MIGHTY POWER was only beaten 0.9L last time out by SEAWEED FORTUNE. He now meets his conqueror 2kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to get his nose in front. SUMSTREETSUMWHERE is drawn best of all. He wasn’t disgraced last time out on this track when beat 1.75L by Armor Star. He will benefit from a 4.5kgs claiming apprentice in this contest and should be right there at the business end of affairs.
RACE 9
UNCLE STEVE is racing well in Class 3 and he doesn’t take on the strongest of opposition in the ninth race. He is drawn wide but will be doing his best work late and he should be picking off the frontrunners in the run down to the wire. MARVEL DRAGON had good form before the layoff. He was only beaten 1.75L on this track last time out and if he returns fit then he can find himself in the winner’s enclosure. CIRCUIT HASSLER won well last time out beating Leading Fortune. He shoulders a lightweight in this contest and looks fairly-handicapped.
RACE 10
This is a competitive event to end off the day’s proceedings. MIGHTY GIANT hasn’t been seen since winning comfortably on this track in April. He is 3/3 with Zac Purton in the saddle and looks difficult to oppose with that astounding record. STAR PERFORMANCE was only pipped a nose in the shadow of the post last time out by Excellent Proposal who has since come out and franked the form line. BALLISTIC KING was beaten 1L last time out by MONGOLIAN KING. He now meets his recent conqueror 2kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to reverse the result in the lucky last race.
