Race 1
MOSSCON is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she finished second, just a half-length off the winner last time out over this trip and will be hoping to go one better here. DIVISOR returns after a 36-week break and has cracked pole position. His first two outings were solid and he could be the biggest threat to the former. POLLARD showed marked improvement in his last outing and if he can confirm that effort, he should be involved in the finish here. FRENCH STAR resumes after a 23 week. His first two starts were encouraging and he has the early gate speed to overcome his wide draw.

Race 2
LOW LEVEL FLYING just failed in his last outing over five furlongs when he was reeled in over the closing stages and deserves another chance here. MACGYVER’S ME MATE returns from a 13-week rest, but a repeat of his debut effort over six furlongs would see him right up there in the dash down to the line. DODGE THE HOUNDS has his first outing since a 21-week break, but the form of his last outing before the rest has been franked and he should be respected today. OLIVE is a 4yr old filly taking on males, but a repeat of her penultimate run over this distance would see her right up there in the mix. 

Race 3
WONFONTEIN was well fancied in the betting last time out over five furlongs and her two runs prior to that over six furlongs were solid. She could be the one to follow here. CASTILLA made a fair debut over 1100M and steps up in trip today. She would have learnt from that experience and with the natural improvement that can be expected, she could be the immediate danger top choice. I’M A FLOOZY has her first run for her new trainer and brings fair form into the contest. MARINE BELLE has her peak run today and although she has a wide draw to negotiate, she should be respected in this line-up.

Race 4
HIGHLY INTRUSIVE was not disgraced last time out when finishing third over seven furlongs and seems likely to be able to build on that effort today. REGAL EFFORT returns from a 28-week break, but put in a solid effort over seven furlongs prior to the rest. MAJESTIC MISSILE has a poor draw to overcome but has not been far off the action in his last three runs. STRIKE ME comes back from a 28-week rest and takes a big drop in distance. If not finding the trip too sharp, he could make his presence felt here.

Race 5
OGGALUTION likes to race up with the speed and the drop back in trip is sure to suit him. He seemed to find the 1300M of his last outing too far for him. FREE THRILLS returns from a 20-week rest. He finished second just a half-length off the winner last time over five furlongs and is a threat to the former. POPPY’S ORSE won his maiden race last time out over five furlongs and although he faces tougher here, he should be respected. KISSEE MEE is a seven-year-old mare that does not seem to have lost her zest for competing and she could test the younger brigade here. 

Race 6
This looks to be a tricky contest and some caution is advised. The tentative first choice goes to BRUTAL POWER who returns from a lengthy 42-week break. He likes to race up with the speed and the drop back in trip is likely to suit him after he was not disgraced last time out over six furlongs. EL SICARIO has not been far off the action in his last two outings and the extra ground on offer here today should be to his liking. GUNN ISLAND returns from a 13-week rest and has pulled pole position. He likes the soft underfoot conditions. RIVERDANCE LAD is a speedy sort who finished close up last time out over six furlongs and is sure to enjoy going the shorter trip today.

Race 7
Another difficult race faces punters here where three of the top four positions could be filled by fillies. EDINBURGH won her last outing over seven furlongs to record her maiden victory. She likes to race handy in her races and should be right up there when they reach the wire.  STOGURSEY PRINCE could split the fillies. He jumps from pole position and should enjoy going the extra ground. JUSTJULES is a 4yr old filly who has a wide draw to deal with, but she should be doing her best work late. NUMERO QUATRE, on the other hand, has a handy draw and she should be involved in the finish here.

Race 8
THE TRAINMAN steps up in trip after not finishing too far back last time over six furlongs. He has a handy draw and like soft going. MISS SAV returns from a 20-week rest and is a 4yr old filly taking on males, but she drops in trip after not finishing too far back last time out over 1700M. KING OF VANDALS resumes after a 15-week break, but is drawn in pole position and should appreciate dropping back in distance. TEMPERS FLARE followed up his easy win over a mile with a solid performance over the same trip next time out and should be respected in this field.

Race 9
DEELBRAKA returns from a 24-week break. He likes to race up with the speed and from his handy draw, he could be the one to follow here. KOBE PRINCESS is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she finished well over 1100M last time out and is sure to appreciate the extra ground on offer today. BIG DARRYL won his maiden over a mile last time out and although taking on stronger here, he may well be up to the task on hand. SCORPIOS SUNSET steps up in distance, but a repeat of his effort three runs back over seven furlongs would make him a runner here.
