He hit the front at the 200M mark that day and then fought on well to hold off all challengers. He faces a wide draw 10, but he should be doing his best work late. CATMOSPHERE stayed on well when ending up in second place last time out over five furlongs, 0.8L behind the winner, suggesting that the extra ground on offer today will be to his liking. From draw seven, he should be right up there in the mix. She followed up her penultimate run victory over seven furlongs with a seventh-place finish next time out over six furlongs and was immediately rest after than effort. She is drawn one outside the latter and if returning to her better form, she should be right up there when they hit the line.

As with race six, fillies could fight out the finish to this race and secure the trifecta, but the clear top selection goes to MAGICAL DREAM who finished strongly to win by a length on debut over five furlongs, suggesting that the step up in trip will be just what she is looking for. She returns from a 16-week absence but did finish third in her only barrier trial to prove her fitness. She will be further aided by jumping from pole position and is suggested as the best bet on the day’s card. PLAYING RED raced wide into the straight and then did not go on with her effort to finish fifth last time out over 1300, just under three lengths behind the winner. The drop in distance should be to his liking and her draw four will do her no harm.
