Race 2
ORAZIO led from gun to tape to win his maiden race last time out over five furlongs and although taking on stronger here, he still looks to be the one that they all have to beat. FRENCH GIGGLE is also a speedy sort who was only beaten a head last time out over five furlongs when friendless in the betting markets. He could be the immediate danger to the top choice. ENCONTI is a 7yr old mare taking on the boys and returns from a 42-week break. She has her first run for her new trainer and if fully settled into her new surroundings, she should give a good account of herself here. DEZZY returns from a 35-week rest and has not had the benefit of a barrier trial. He did win his penultimate start over 1300M and if not finding this trip too sharp, he could be involved in the finish.

Race 3
NEVADA DANE followed up his victory in his penultimate run over five furlongs with a solid fifth over the same trip, 2.1L behind the winner. He is drawn seven and should be right up there in the dash down to the line. CALESCENT is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she has cracked pole position and is sure to put that to good use today. THE INFLAMER returns from a 14-week break and has not had a barrier trial. He is however seldom too far off the action and is sure to put in another honest performance today. GUNDY was a little disappointing last time out, but he raced wide that day and the effort is best ignored. On some of his better form, he should be respected here.

Race 4
DEBBONAIRE BOY has only had the two runs to date and finished fourth last time out over 1100M, only 2.4L behind the winner. He has a very wide draw to negotiate, but he has the early gate speed to be able to shift across without expending too much energy. LORD CEDRICK, on the other hand, has a handy two gate to jump from. He finished 3.1L behind in his last outing over 1100M and is sure to enjoy the drop in distance. CITY ROGUE raced up with the leaders last time out over 1100M and then did not quite go on with his effort. He will enjoy the drop in distance here. CELEB is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys on debut. She has however had three barrier trials and any betting support for her should be respected.

Race 5
FLIGHT COMMANDER has finished third in his last two runs over the mile and starting from gate five, he could represent the value on the day. MAHSINGER is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she has done even better by finishing second in her last three outings, the latest being over nine furlongs. She does, however, face the widest draw of them all, but she should be doing her best work over the closing stages of the contest. MOSS THE BOSS is seldom far back and jumps from a handy four draw. He is likely to be right up there in the firing line today. IVY’S BELLE is a 4yr old filly who goes for her hat-trick here. She won her latest start over 1500M and should be right at home over the mile, despite having a wide draw of ten.

Race 6
Three fillies look to be able to dominate the finish to this race and complete the trifecta. LADY BROOK is a speedy sort who has won her first two starts over five furlongs. She has a wide draw of twelve to beat, but she could be a smart sort in the making and is taken to be the best bet on today’s program. STARLIV put three lengths between herself and the balance of the field when winning her maiden race last time out over six furlongs. She is drawn one outside the top choice which won’t make things easy for her, but nevertheless, she should be a factor in this field. FABULOUS FRAN was staying on in her last two outings over five furlongs suggesting that the six furlongs should be to her liking. WOULD BE KING led all the way to narrowly win his last start over 1100M to exit the maiden ranks. He takes on stronger today, but should be considered for minor placings.

Race 7
WRECKING BALL showed good improvement last time out when 1.8L behind the winner over 1100M. He steps up in trip today, but may well be looking for this greater test of stamina. SMART STYLE is a 4yr old filly taking on boys, but although finishing sixth last time out over 1100M, she was just three lengths back. She has a wide draw of eleven, but she should be involved in the finish today. MOTIME held on well to record a narrow victory last time out over six furlongs. On that effort, he should have no issue seeing out the extra distance of today’s contest. THIS SKILLED CAT won his latest outing over 1300M. He is drawn right on the outside of the field, but he should be picking off the frontrunner in the latter stages of the race.
