International Racing: Yarmouth – Wednesday 03 June 2020

International Racing: Saturday 30 May 2020 – Morphetville

A large and competitive ten-race programme is scheduled for Yarmouth on Wednesday with good to firm underfoot conditions predicted. The best bet is DUTCH STORY in Race 4. He has won twice over this c & d and absolutely trounced the opposition last time out. On that effort alone, he looks difficult to oppose on paper this afternoon.

Race 1
NARIZAGAI and CELESTRAN weren’t separated by much the
last time they met and the pair re-new their healthy rivalry this afternoon. GROUP ONE POWER is a son of Lope De
Vega and with top class rider De Sousa in the irons he won’t have to be
anything special to win in Class 4. Any betting support for the other
first-timers needs to be respected in this contest.
Race 2
CASA COMIGO
enjoys good to firm ground, performs well on the all-weather track and looks
difficult to oppose on paper this afternoon. DUBIOUS AFFAIR meets stronger but the manner in which he dispatched
the opposition last time stands out. He put just over eleven lengths between
herself and the runner-up in that effort and repeating that run, will pose a
massive threat to the top selection. JOHNNY
KID
was only beaten a neck last tie out at Kempton and if racing fresh, he
can run into the places again.
Race 3
NELSON GAY is a
brother to a three-time winner and could have the scope to go on and win a
contest of this nature. NO SCHOOL TODAY
is a filly out of Exceed and Excel. Her dam was interestingly unraced but any
support in the market for her should be respected this afternoon. THE LIR JET is bred for this distance and he gets top class rider De
Sousa in the irons. He will not have to be anything special to win in this
class.
Race 4
DUTCH STORY is
the best bet on the card. He won twice over this c & d last season but was
most impressive in his latest when he put eight lengths between himself and the
runner-up. If repeating that run, he will take a power of beating in this
contest. SEPRANI enjoys it when the
going is on top and performs well on the all-weather track. FULL INTENTION has won four times on
the all-weather track and was only beaten one and a half lengths lime out at
Chelmsford. He can run into the places of this contest.
Race 5
ENEMY only won by
a neck at Ascot in September of last year but has surely strengthened during
the break and come on leaps. He has the benefit of race experience and will
take a power of beating in this contest. MISTER
SNOWDON
is a brother to a four time winner and may have the scope to go on
and challenge the top selection. FAIR
MAN
is a son out of Kingman. His mother won over a mile and any betting
support for him needs to be respected.
Race 6
HIGHER KINGDOM
found plenty support in the market in his last start when he put four lengths
between himself and the runner-up. If returning fit, he can find himself in the
winner’s enclosure again. ALL YOU WISH
won by a neck on debut at long-odds despite casting a shoe in the running and
he will have surely strengthened up during the break. Top class rider Murphy
takes the ride and the pair, pose the biggest threat to the top selection. HAQEEQY was well beaten last time out
in good to form conditions but he can run into the places of this contest.
Race 7
MAYDANNY has
finished runner-up in both career starts. He was only beaten just under a
length last time out and looks difficult to oppose in this Class 4 Handicap. The
grey TWO BIDS gets the hood fitted
for the first time and has been ultra-consistent in his career thus far. He
looks the biggest danger to the top selection. RUM BABA was a winner over this trip in his latest outing at
Windsor. He beat a decent sort that day in Frontman and if repeating that
effort, he can upset in this contest.
Race 8
PRETTY PICKLE
wasn’t disgraced in her debut when she was only beaten three and a half lengths
at Newbury. She will come on from the experience and interestingly gets the
hood fitted this afternoon. KESARINA
is a daughter of Medicean and she is a sister to a four time winner. Her
pedigree suggests that this trip shouldn’t be an issue. MOUNTAIN DREAMS is a daughter of Temple City. She is a sister to
Juan Pablo, who has won twice over a mile. Any support in the market for her
should be respected.
Race 9
GLADICE disappointed
in her last outing at San Siro in Spain but she gets top pilot De Sousa in the
irons and she has won on the all-weather track over this trip before. ZIM BABY has won over a mile and must
have a say in this moderate Class 5 Handicap. She placed in her last run over
this distance at Lingfield and is progressing nicely since changing stables
last year. She may represent some each way value in a wide open contest. IKEBANA had had a low key start to
her career but is bred for this distance and can run into the places of this
contest.
Race 10
MOUNT WELLINGTON,
GOLDEN FORCE
and LALANIA all
have collateral form and the trip look set to fight out the finish of this
Class 5 Handicap. A slight preference is for
MOUNT WELLINGTON who was only beaten a short-head at the finish
last time out at Chelmsford. He likes this c & d and should take a power of
beating in the lucky last.
