NEWMARKET

Race 1 No7 INGRA TOR
Trainer: Mick Channon – Jockey: Rob Hornby

INGRA TOR has been all dressed up with nowhere to go owing to the testing conditions throughout the UK, but now reaches D-Day. The son of Churchill has shown abundant promise in his work, but after a stop-start summer finds himself making a late entry onto the stage. He will almost certainly run green, but his the ability to win.

Race 4 No4 DESERT DREAMER (Nap)
Trainer: Stuart Williams – Jockey: Jason Hart

A race that remembers the top-class filly Bosra Sham can fall to DESERT DREAMER, who already has points on the board in Group company, having posted four Pattern race places as well as finishing just out of the money behind Tenebrism in the Group 1 Cheveley Park Stakes at This course. A credit to her trainer, she can take full advantage of this drop into Listed company.

Race 5 No1 WHITEHAVEN
Trainer: Hughie Morrison – Jockey: Oisin Murphy

WHITEHAVEN is starting to carbon copy the hot streak of form he produced at this time last season, and the gelding looked good value for his all the way triumph at Haydock, one that clinched a third jockey’s championship for Murphy. He will love any cut in the ground and should win, but a saver on Galahad Threepwood is additionally advised. Hopefully, the pair will fill exacta and trifecta perms

WETHERBY

Race 6 No2 THE BIG BITE
Trainer: Tom George – Jockey: Jonathan Burke

THE BIG BITE just gets the nod over recent course winner Whoshotthesheriff in this competitive handicap chase. The selection engaged in a select campaign last season and importantly won first time back at Aintree. With his ability to perform well when fresh, he can prove too hot for his foes to handle.

Race 8 No11 STREAM OF STARS (Nap)
Trainer: Nigel Twiston-Davies – Jockey: Sam Twiston-Davies

Several in this fascinating nightcap have public form, but STREAM OF STARS not only takes a cracking first effort over jumps into battle but can boast winning form at Ascot when with John Gosden. He wasn’t disgraced behind Kew Gardens in the Queen’s Vase at Royal Ascot, and looks every inch a horse to follow for a yard that’s doing well with its novices.

UTTOXETER

Race 3 No13 TWEED SKIRT (Nap)
Trainer: Nicky Henderson – Jockey: Nico de Boinville

TWEED SKIRT kept the best company in her division after a smooth debut success at Wetherby, ending her first season with an earning run in a Listed bumper at Sandown, followed by a solid effort at Aintree. She jumps well and is expected to make her mark on this first outing over hurdles.

Race 6 No1 PULL AGAIN GREEN
Trainer: Fergal O’Brien – Jockey: Liam Harrison

Former Irish pointer PULL AGAIN GREEN landed a Wexford bumper before joining the red hot O’Brien stable. He’s worked encouragingly ahead of this debut under Rules, and is the one to beat.

KEMPTON PARK

Race 3 No1 CHOLA EMPIRE
|Trainer: David Simcock – Jockey: Stevie Donohue

CHOLA EMPIRE made no mistake on his introduction here, buckling down well to score in a tight finish from the more experienced Liangel Hope. He’s burdened with a penalty and isn’t that well-drawn, but granted normal improvement can remain unbeaten.

Race 6 No3 RUN TO FREEDOM (Nap)
Trainer: Henry Candy – Jockey: David Probert

RUN TO FREEDOM went for home very early over seven furlongs at Ascot and had nothing left in the final furlong. Brought back to sprinting, he benefitted from strong handling to score over this course and distance, and from a good draw has outstanding claims to stage a repeat.
