Since moving off the claim into the Broberg barn in the winter STRONG SIDE has shown a liking for the Oklahoma air, having been a shade out of his depth contesting allowance races on the New York circuit last fall. His win at the $11,000 claiming level in February has been backed up by two frame finishes in allowances with Cabrera in the plate for a near miss last time. The combination get the vote to see off VALIANT APPEAL who narrowly missed on debut for his new trainer, while DANCE DOCTOR should also be considered.

The best bet on the card is NOCTURNAL MISSION who looks primed and ready to open her account for 2020. The daughter of dual Breeders’ Cup Sprint winner Midnight Lute has threatened to thrill in both starts since being claimed out of the Asmussen barn, narrowly missing out at Sam Houston and latterly over this track and trip at the beginning of the month. She seems perfectly cited to put one on the board at the main expense of SILKY APPEAL, with MORO COMPASS the best value in the race on second run back.

No2 RIGHTEOUS MOVER
Trainer: Scott Young – Jockey: Alfredo Triana Jr
RIGHTEOUS MOVER improved from her first creditable run of the year to push Love To Learn all the way at the $7,000 level on the first day of the month and is a filly with more room for improvement than anything else in the field. Her main rival GRAY SKY MESA has to be afforded plenty of respect granted a similar profile while RED RED WINE was unwanted in the market when breaking her maiden on introduction and needs to prove that was no fluke.
