TOP BET

Race 1: LADY ABIGAIL(6)
Jockey: Tristan GODDEN  – Trainer: Lezeanne FORBES

LADY ABIGAIL attracted outside betting support when she showed pace and stayed on for 2nd on her promising debut on the polytrack recently. Her yard has enjoyed relative success with their juveniles this campaign and this daughter of Crusade should make natural progress on her turf debut.

Race 2: BIOMETRIC(7)
Jockey: Keagan DE MELO – Trainer: Pat LUNN

BIOMETRIC
was possibly unsuited to blinkers when he flopped over nine furlongs recently but he should bounce back without the headgear today. The son of Judpot had smart form up to a mile on the polytrack prior to that and he merits healthy respect in this weak field on his turf debut.

Race 6: TIMEOUS(1)
Jockey: Keagan DE MELO – Trainer: Dennis DRIER

TIMEOUS should strip fitter after possibly needing her below-par comeback run a fortnight ago. The track specialist drops in class and she holds strong claims if reproducing her smart c & d effort in her penultimate showing.
Race 8: JUST ONE MORE(8)
Jockey: Sherman BROWN – Trainer: Jeff FREEDMAN

JUST ONE MORE has always been highly rated by her shrewd conditioner and her eye-catching last effort behind two potentially quality sorts over a mile on the polytrack proved why. She finished exactly one length ahead of the consistent four-year-old GOT YOUR BACK (3kgs better off) but is progressive and versatile. She will strip fitter and is her conditioner’s solitary entrant on the card.

VALUE BET (EACH WAY) FOR TODAY:
Race 5: BLING SWING(4)
Jockey: Sherman BROWN – Trainer: Paul LAFFERTY

BLING SWING is realizing some of his earlier potential and he posted two smart comeback performances on this course. Admittedly, he shouldered a lightweight on both those occasions but the son of Mambo In Seattle took on much stronger opposition and he still has room for improvement.
