RACE 1

BELLA BABY
followed up her recent win with a decent third-place finish on this course. He
is drawn a bit wide but if getting across without exerting too much energy then
he should be right there at the business end of the opening contest. CORRE RAPIDO doesn’t take on the
strongest of fields today. He was only beaten 2L by Demons Rock who performs
later on the card in a tougher grade. TIGERLAD
resumes from a two-month layoff which may have done him the world of good.
He shoulders a light weight in this contest and could use his forward action
effectively.

RACE 2

CIRCUIT NUMBER ONE
was only beaten by 2L on the All Weather track last time out. The grey son of
Holy Roman Emperor is reaching peak fitness and if getting across from his wide
draw without any issues then he should take a power of beating. YES WE CAN is much better than his poor
last start suggests. He has good prior form and Joao Moreira should be able to
get the best out of him. It is best to put a line through SMART THINKER’S last outing. That is not a true reflection of his
best form and he can run into the money.

RACE 3

FORTE is the best
bet on the racecard. He won well on debut and with the further natural
improvement that is expected, should take an absolute power of beating. He
fought off United We Stand on that occasion and there looks to be plenty more
to come from this individual. INFINITE
POWER
finished 3.5L behind the top choice on debut. He is 4kgs better off
at the weights which should be enough to throw out a challenge. GLENEALY GENERALS was only 2.5L behind
the top selection last time. He doesn’t have as much scope and may have to
settle for a place once again.

RACE 4

LEADING FORTUNE
is a two-time c&d winner in this class. He finished 1.75L behind All For St
Paul’s last time out and a repeat of that effort can find himself in the
winners enclosure. He looks fairly-handicapped in this contest and must be
respected. EVERYONE’S DELIGHT
followed up his debut victory with two runner-up berths. He will have to
shoulder top weight but can bounce back to winning form. BREEZE OF SPRING has placed in his last three outings. He has been
freshened for a month and if returning in peak condition then he can run into
the money once again.

RACE 5

HAPPY TANGO
dictated terms well in latest when nabbed in the shadow of the post. He was
only beaten by a neck on that occasion and he will be looking to make amends. STAR SUPERIOR was beaten just under a
length by Super Alliances last time who performs later on the programme. SUPER RED DRAGON is in search of a
hat-trick of wins. He will have to shoulder top weight which is a concern but
he goes really well for French ace Alex Badel.

Jockeys Ride Horses

RACE 6

SPEEDY FAY FAY
was beaten by a very narrow margin last time out on this course when almost
making it back-to-back triumphs. He is drawn wide on the city circuit but if
negating it well then he should be a tough horse to beat. SO AWESOME has placed in his last four outings. He interestingly
finished third in his only run under Karis Teetan. SPRINT FORWARD is much better than his last start suggests. He is a
natural frontrunner who will look to get across early and if doing so then he
can run into the money.

RACE 7

SUPER ALLIANCES
is in search of a hat-trick of wins. He raced midfield last time and the manner
in which he finished off his race suggests there may be another win in the
tank. KEEP YOU WARM is much better
than his moderate last outing. He has good prior form and if putting his best
foot forward, he may be able to pose a threat to the top selection. FOODIE PRINCESS has his first run after
a rest. He is without his regular rider which suggest he may need the run but
if returning fit and well then he can run into the money.

RACE 8

This
is a very open contest where some caution is advised. SKY SHOW made up for his disappointing comeback effort when only
beaten a couple of lengths by Grateful Heart. He is still learning with racing
and it is encouraging that Joao Moreira has kept faith in the ride. WINNING FOR ALL is better than his
moderate latest when not ridden out to the finish. He finished just under a
length behind Ka Ying Master in the run before that and a repeat of that effort
should see him right there when they reach the final furlong. DUBLIN STAR is a useful sort who was
only beaten 0.6L last time out. He is held by the second choice on his
penultimate run but can run into the money.

RACE 9

UNCLE STEVE is
coming along the right way and will benefit from a 3kgs claiming apprentice in
this contest. He was narrowly-beaten in his last outing by Chevalier Prince and
he will be looking to make amends. ROMANTIC
COMBO
finished right behind the top selection last time out. He is now
3.5kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the tables. RED ELYSEES has completed the quartet
in his last two outings. He will only shoulder 50kgs on this contest and must
be considered for minor money.

RACE 10

BALLISTIC KING
represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. He has finished
runner-up in his last two outings and his fourth career triumph looks on the
horizon. He gets Belgian ace Christophe Soumillon in the irons and he may be
able to coax extra out of him where it matters most. BEAUTY SMILE should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a
rest. He was only beaten by 0.5L last time out and will strip a much fitter
horse. BAND OF BROTHERS finished
1.5L behind the talented Buddies last time. He will have to shoulder top weight
but definitely has the ability to make his presence felt in the lucky last
race.
