Uttoxeter Best Bets
Race 2 – No 4 FAMOUS RESPONSE

Having impressed when winning his only point-to-point in Cornwall for Jill Dennis, FAMOUS RESPONSE is strongly fancied to deliver on his first outing under Rules. His connections have won this contest twice in the last three years and the 5yo is highly regarded.
Race 4 – No 3 NOT THAT FUISSE

Jockey: Harry Skelton
The Skeltons produced a smart recruit to fences at Warwick last week and may unveil another in the shape of NOT THAT FUISSE even though he has something to find with Erick Le Rouge on hurdling form. The selection fell when last seen over hurdles but has schooled impeccably for this.
Kelso Best Bets
Race 2 No 4 SLEEPY HAVEN

Jockey: Sean Quinlan
To say SLEEPY HAVEN is overdue is something of an understatement and it might be worth giving the oldest runner in this handicap hurdle the opportunity to put his best foot forward. Although he disappointed on his latest outing, the inclement conditions will play to his strengths.
Race 5 No 7 UPTOWN HARRY

Jockey: Sam Coltherd
UPTOWN HARRY has shown his mettle in handicaps but can now return to novice company with the best form in an admittedly strong field. His strong suit is an ability to reproduce his form without an off day, and as he’s considered fit following near 200-day absence he gets the vote.
