Race 2 – JUNGLE LAND 11/10

JUNGLE LAND can get off the mark in the Racing TV Maiden Stakes for Karl Burke and owner Clipper Logistics.

The Kodiac gelding has run twice so far, finishing second at Ayr early in May and then second again on the all-weather at Newcastle 10 days later.

Both runs came over six furlongs and the three-year-old takes on the same trip here with surely more to offer.

Race 3- DAKOTA GOLD 1/1

Veteran sprinter DAKOTA GOLD can come out on top in the Jacks Coaches Handicap.

Michael Dods’ 10-year-old is a seasoned professional over five and six furlongs, winning 15 times and placing on a further 18 occasions throughout his career.

At the height of his powers, he was a Group Three winner with multiple Listed titles to his name too, though his mark has eased since those 100-plus rated days and he is now more often seen in handicaps.

It has perhaps taken a few runs for his mark to balance with his age but he looked to be back in business when beaten only a length and a half to finish second in a competitive heat at York in the middle of the month.

Race 6 – MAGHLAAK 7/2

MAGHLAAK maintains good form at the moment after impressing at Goodwood earlier this month and is likely to be the one to beat in the Racing Tv Zetland Gold Cup Handicap.

Bystander finished just behind the winner when fourth over 1m at Newmarket. Continues to progress and worth giving a live chance.

Quitaal returned from a lengthy break securing a win. Since failed to replicate. Not to be dismissed. Arthur’s Realm seemed out of his depth at Newmarket. Already won this season so warrants another go.

Race 7 – IRV 4/1

IRV made an impressive return to the track scoring at Wolverhampton over 1m1 1/2f with jockey Aiden Brookes.

However, we expect that there will be an improvement on their score at Redcar as they look to be the best pick of the last race of the day.

Sameem won at Catterick but will need to prove fitness but could go close if so.

Life On The Rocks is inconsistent. Produced one win and holds ability to give a good account.

Bay Dream Believer maintains a losing streak. Finds a more suitable opportunity and is fancied to be thereabouts.
