EPSOM

Race 2 – CHIEF LITTLE ROCK 83/100

CHIEF LITTLE ROCK can head home to Ireland with his Classic prospects enhanced by winning the Betfred Blue Riband Trial at Epsom.

The Galileo colt ran four times as a juvenile, finishing second on debut when beaten by half a length before returning to the same track at Leopardstown to win a similar contest next time out.

Aidan O’Brien’s charge was then runner-up in the Group Two Beresford Stakes at Curragh, after which he filled the same spot in the Group Three Autumn Stakes at Newmarket.

There he was beaten by Godolphin’s Ancient Wisdom, who subsequently went on to win the Futurity Trophy at Doncaster.

That form makes him the obvious candidate when he starts off his campaign at Listed level over an extended mile and a quarter that should bring about further improvement.

Race 3 – FELIX 5/1

Marco Botti’s FELIX can strike in the Lilley Plummer Risks City & Suburban Handicap.

The Chestnut Gelding caused a ruckus when refusing to go to post last time out at Lingfield, but prior to that he was picking up plenty of money on the all-weather.

Therefore it has been some time since he ran on turf, but if agreeing to run his race he could tap into some form on the grass under Oisin Murphy.

Race 4- HOPE YOU CAN RUN 7/1

HOPE YOU CAN RUN looks to return from his off-season break with a bang in the Weatherbys Global Stallions App Great Metropolitan Handicap.

Charlie Johnston’s four-year-old was in strong form last season, with a second at Newmarket over this trip and a win at Catterick in a lower level one mile and four furlong handicap.

If he can reach the levels that he showed last season in his first run of 2024 then he should be in the mix.

Race 5 INVOLVEMENT 13/10

Simon and Ed Crisford’s INVOLVEMENT catches the eye in the Weatherbys Digital Solutions Novice Stakes.

The Lope De Vega colt won by a comfortable four lengths on debut at Redcar in September, then he was beaten by just a neck in a Newcastle all-weather novice.

There were three subsequent winners behind him across those two runs and he looks poised to start his season on the right foot.

WOLVERHAMPTON

Race 1- TROJAN TRUTH2/1

At Wolverhampton TROJAN TRUTH can defy top-weight to take the Tips For Every Race At raceday-ready.com Apprentice Handicap for Ed de Giles.

The gelding has a good record at the Dunstall Park track, winning or placing every time in three runs including two recent efforts under Liam Wright, the same 3lb claimer who will ride him this time.

He remains in good form here and should definitely be in the mix.

Race 4- TENYATTA 17/10

TENYATTA can add to her recent Wolverhampton success in the Get Raceday Ready Handicap.

The filly had her first start for James Owen at the track earlier in the month, contesting over this course-and-distance and prevailing by a length.

Prior to her move to Owen’s yard, Tenyatta struggled and didn’t make the frame in all of his nine outings under Jamie Osborne, but a huge improvement has been made with Owen and expect her to continue her upward trajectory of form here.

Race 5 – THE CRAFTYMASTER 8/1

THE CRAFTYMASTER looks to bounce back from his poor outing last time out in the Free Digital Racecard At Raceday-Ready.Com Handicap.

He was fifth at Kempton last time out, but other than that he has been in dazzling form recently, with seven wins in his last nine outings, including two over this course-and-distance.

While he may have struggled at Kempton, you cannot discount The Craftymaster due to his incredible form since moving to Tony Carroll’s yard along with his knowhow of the all-weather at Wolverhampton.

Race 7 – SISTERS IN THE SKY 7/1

SISTERS IN THE SKY is one to keep an eye on in the Download The Racecourse App Raceday Ready Handicap.

He was disappointing when fourth over this course-and-distance last time out, when he was beaten by the reopposing Arlecchinos Gift, who finished second.

However, he did win at this track two starts ago and will be hard to beat if he finds his best form.
