TREE TUMBO is the best bet on the card. He ran on powerfully to win his last start over 2000m at Turffontein, seven weeks ago. He drops back to the 1800m this afternoon and will be doing his best work at the finish.
Race 4: BELLE OF BELIZE (7)

BELLE OF BELIZE was a tad disappointing in her last start over 1400m at Turffontein. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Ideal World will love the step up to the mile this afternoon. She does not meet the strongest field and can shed her maiden tag.
Race 6: RIO’S WINTER (1)
Jockey: Lerena G – Trainer: Moffatt S
RIO’S WINTER ran a fair race when finishing third against the males last time. Her penultimate run when winning over six furlongs on this course was encouraging. She finished second in her only attempt over this C&D. She is the best weighted runner in this contest and should be the one to beat.

ATTENTIVE looked a winner in his last start over this C&D, but was caught in the shadow of the post. Sherman Brown knows him well and if repeating that effort today, he should go one better in this field.
