- This imported colt has probably surprised his conditioner with how quickly he has blossomed into a top quality sort.
- His prep has gone very well, albeit more was expected of him when given every chance behind FRENCH NAVY (1.5kgs worse off) in the Daily News 2000.
- The Ramsden inmate produced a smart gallop recently and has plenty more improvement to come.
- However, the rather mysterious jockey choice, coupled with his shocking stallgate make his task extremely difficult. He is having his peak run though & his best option may be to lead.

- The sole representative of smart sire Judpot in this field, this chestnut had top quality Gauteng form before the mishap in the Daily News 2000.
- His conditioner is optimistically convinced he would have finished in the first 3 and while the Mike Azzie inmate has room for improvement, his jockey choice and wide draw are major concerns.
- He has produced his best performances when racing up handy so will be hurried along to get up there and the concern is that he may not finish his race off well.
- Decent type but with plenty to do in this field.

- His preparations have been pleasing and he finished strongly for a close 2nd behind DYNASTIC POWER (4kgs worse off) in the Greyville 1900 last time, but is yet another that prefers a solid gallop
- He is held by a few viz. HELDERBERG BLUE on the J&B Met outing
- Has a handy galloping mass
- He needs to raise his game to win it
- A strong pace will assist his cause.

- There has never really been much to choose between this bay gelding, HELDERBERG BLUE and POWER KING on their respective clashes in the Cape.
- This four-year old son of Dynasty produced a super-impressive local winning debut win the Greyville 1900 despite racing wide
- He fluffed his lines terribly behind his stablemate last time out.
- He was reportedly not striding out that day but this race may come too soon thereafter.
- His handy galloping mass is a major plus
- Has a really difficult task, despite having a jockey that is having his best season.
