The daughter of Trippi would have come on with the experience under her belt and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should go close to winning.

BLACK KNAP is much better than his effort in the Winter Classic suggests. He raced wide around the turn that day and never got into the race. Katak has come out and won again since that outing. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. He is loaded with ability and can get back to winning ways.

FYNBOS finished 1.75 lengths behind FIRST STREET in her last start. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The daughter of Elusive Fort should strip a much fitter horse and she may be the one to beat.
