The daughter of Brave Tin Soldier is versatile with her tactics and she has strong claims from her good draw.

NEW SPRING has blossomed in his four local runs and he handled this trip extremely well when he got the upper hand late to win, two weeks ago. The Goldkeeper gelding may have escaped with just a three pound penalty and he should continue his fine run of form.

The Corne’ Spies yard holds a really strong hand in this pinnacle stakes event and the lightweight DEFENDER OF PEACE could be the right one. The six-year old gelding clearly found eleven furlongs too far for him last Monday but he had some pleasing performances over shorter prior to that. He won his only c & d and despite taking on considerably stronger now, he could make his feather weight count.
