ROY’S NOVICE is a well-tried maiden but with solid credentials and a top rider. She may be the dictator in this small field where she deserves healthy respect.

The relentless galloper SAVUTI was immediately rested after his disappointing last c & d showing but he could have things straight forward on his seasonal debut in this small field. He had subsequent easy winner GUNNER comfortably behind him when winning his penultimate outing and is 3kgs better off with that rival today.

O’ KEEFFE has been a revelation on this surface and she should strip fitter after narrowly failing to win her comeback run over ten furlongs recently, though she could have been given a smarter ride. The drop in distance won’t be an issue.
