SUPERB DADDY will have plenty of followers. He is having his third run after a rest and should be cherry-ripe for this opening contest. LOYAL AMBITION finished 0.6 lengths behind the top selection in his last start and could be one to fill the exacta spot. COLOURFUL BARON is next in line.

SUPER EAGLE is better than his below-par last effort. Keagan de Melo has picked up the ride and if reproducing his previous form, he should be involved in the outcome of this contest. The top-weight HAPPY GOLF won his penultimate start under Hugh Bowman and the combination merit healthy respect.

13:40 – Race 3 | Class 2 | 1650m

TELECOM FIGHTERS was beaten narrowly by MR ASCENDENCY on the All Weather course last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror. GALAXY WITNESS comes in with a lightweight and can run into the placings.

14:10 – Race 4 | Class 4 – 1200m

COPARTNER PRANCE won well in his last start when teamed-up with Zac Purton. He is a horse that is still on the upgrade and looks to be one of the better bets on the card. SKY SONG showed some promise on debut. He would have gained from the experience and should appreciate the extra furlong on offer.

14:40 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1650m

DEVAS TWELVE followed up his recent win with a fair effort behind Casa Cosmo. If suited to this course, he should take a power of beating in this line-up. ATOMIC BEAUTY finished just under a length behind United Endeavors last time. He is nicely handicapped and could be one to cause an upset.

15:10 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1200m

WINNING HEART won his last start in good fashion and it is encouraging that Harry Bentley has kept faith in the ride. TELECOM SPEED finished 1.8 lengths behind GOLDEN LINK in his last outing. He is 2.5kgs worse off at the weights and may have to settle for the same result.

15:45 – Race 7 | Class 4 | 1650m

Selections: 10/2/4

JOYFUL PROSPERITY finished third behind subsequent winner Californiatotality last time. He should be one of the leading contenders. CAPITAL LEGEND has shown good improvement in Class 4. He finished a neck behind Snowalot last time and it will be no surprise to see him in the winners’ enclosure. GALLANT VALOUR must be included in quartets.

16:15 – Race 8 | Class 3 | 1650m

Selections: 7/3/2

LOVERO is nicely handicapped and has gone down narrowly in his last two starts. He can feature prominently if getting across from the wide draw without using up too much energy. SIMPLY MAVERICK took on much stronger in the Hong Kong Classic Cup last time. He returns to Class 3 and can give the top selection a good run for his money. WINNING DRAGON is next best.

16:50 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1200m

SWEET BRIAR finished a neck behind Outgate at Sha Tin last time. He has cracked pole and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. COLOURFUL EMPEROR has won his last two starts under apprentice Chung and is going for a hat-trick. HEALTHY HEALTHY has some decent form lines to his credit and must also be strongly considered in the lucky last!
