NOIR RIDER finished just under a length Super Joy in his last start. He comes in with a light weight and from pole could be one to cause an upset. SWEET DIAMOND will relish the drop back to 1000m and can feature in this opening contest if overcoming the wide draw without using up too much energy.
13:10 – Race 2 | Class 5 | 1650m

BIG TWO finished 1.2 lengths behind NORTHERN BEAST last time. The pair meet on similar weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them in the run down to the line. MASTER OF LUCK won his last start by a neck. He remains in Class 5 and should give another good account of himself.
13:40 – Race 3 | Class 4 | 1200m

EXUBERANT showed good improvement in his last start. He runs well for apprentice Chau and the combination will have plenty of followers. DAN ATTACK followed up his maiden win with two good third-place finishes. He is nicely handicapped and can give the top selection a run for his money.
14:10 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1800m

COURIER MAGIC followed up his recent shock win with another good victory over Strongest Boy. He goes for a hat-trick of wins and cannot be ignored. CONCERTO produced a fair last effort behind Red Majesty and must be included in quartets. DRAGON STAR is next in line.
14:40 – Race 5 | Class 3 | 1200m

WINGS OF WAR has been knocking on the door. He finished half a length behind Colourful Emperor last time and a repeat of that effort should see him go close to winning this Class 3 contest. KAHOLO ANGEL has finished second in both attempts on this course and is clearly a massive danger. CAPTAIN WIN comes in with a light and can run into the placings.
15:10 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1200m

GLORY B showed good improvement after returning from a 2-month layoff. He is still lightly raced and can make his presence felt in this line-up. COUNTRY DANCER finished just under a length behind CHEER FOR SOUTH last time. The pair meet on similar weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them at the wire.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1200m

BEAUTY INFINITY finished runner-up behind Harmony N Blessed last time. He is a horse is still on the upgrade and looks one of the better bets on the card. HAPPY FAT CAT should find the lead from pole. He has won his last two starts by a narrow margin but the hat-trick is still possible.
16:15 – Race 8 | Class 4 | 1650m

STRONGEST BOY is holding form well. He finished a neck behind Courier Magic last time and it will be interesting to see if the form line is given a boost in Race 4. JUMBO LEGEND was strongly fancied when a length behind UNITED ENDEAVORS last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the tables.
16:50 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1650m
Selections: 2/4/10
QUANTAM PATCH finished 3.2 lengths behind SHOW RESPECT last time. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value in the lucky last. RED HARE KING is in a rich vein of form. He won his last start by a neck and it is encouraging that Matthew Chadwick has kept faith in the ride.
