LOTUS FAVORITES wasn’t disgraced against stronger in Class 4 last time and is the narrow first selection in this opening contest. EL VALIENTE has completed the quartet in his last two starts and looks nicely handicapped with 57kgs on his back. He was only beaten three lengths by Star Of Glory at Sha Tin last time and should be one of the leading contenders.

FARM BUMPER wasn’t raised in the ratings after his last start when beaten 1.5 lengths by REGENCY POET. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. ARES comes in with top weight but is a massive threat if confirming his recent improvement.
13:45 – Race 3 | Class 4 Handicap | 1000m

SEE U AGAIN has placed in his last two starts over six furlongs. He drops back to the minimum trip and will have plenty of followers in this Class 4 event. YELLOWFIN was no match for the winner in his second start behind Gorgeous Vitality. He is an improving sort and should give the top selection a run for his money.

EVER FORCE produced a decent last effort when beaten 1.5 lengths by Above All over this C&D. He rates highly with Teetan aboard and can earn his third-career victory. PERFECT PEACH has plenty gate speed and if settling in the race is capable of returning to best form. HERCULES was only beaten a couple of lengths by Oversubscribed last time. He is likely to settle off the speed and should be doing his best work in the closing stages.

SUPER HORNET was beaten just over two lengths by RED BRICK FIGHTER last time. He has cracked a neat draw and is 1.5kgs better off at the weights. BLISSFUL STAR has been narrowly beaten in his last two starts over this C&D and is difficult to oppose on form.
15:15 – Race 6 | Class 4 Handicap | 1200m

SPICY GRILL showed signs of needing his comeback run over this C&D. He should strip a much fitter horse and is capable of bouncing back to his best form. TAKE WHAT YOU NEED stayed on strongly last time when beaten 1.5 lengths by Pleasant Endeavour. He comes in with a light galloping weight and will just have to overcome the wide barrier to have a say.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 3 Handicap | 1200m

NICCONI COUNTY has cracked pole and finished strongly when beaten 1.5 lengths by Be Ready last time. He is a lightly-raced sort with plenty of scope for improvement and can challenge for top honors. LIKE THAT brings some attractive All-Weather form into this race and can find the winner’s enclosure if transferring his recent performances onto turf.
16:15 – Race 8 | Class 3 Handicap | 1650m

PACKING AWARD is the class package in the race. He was a narrow winner over this C&D last time and will be looking to make it quick back-to-back wins despite having to shoulder top weight. WORLD FAMOUS followed up his recent win with a smart effort when beaten a neck by My Ecstatic over this C&D. He shoulders a handy galloping weight and can get back to winning ways.
16:50 – Race 9 | Class 2 Handicap | 1200m

LUCKY SWEYNESSE is a talented sort with four wins from five starts. He was a narrow winner at Sha Tin last time, is still on the upgrade and looks one of the better bets on the card. REWARDING TOGETHER almost made it back-to-back wins last time when beaten a nose by Winning Dreamer. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and merits healthy respect in the lucky last.
