A tricky six horse handicap for fillies and mares where the natural pacesetter ROCK ON WOOD is expect- ed to make all. Of course she was nabbed late in her last two starts but she is 1kg better off with recent conqueror SUMMER OLIMPICS for that neck defeat. She should reverse the form of her penultimate run with KAWAKAMI on the 1.5kgs favourable weight reversal.

The four-year old RUSH HOUR GIRL has found her form in recent starts and the c & d specialist is well- handicapped with her younger counterparts today. That said, it is worth noting that the three-year old impressive recent maiden winner ALMOST CAPTURED finished her c & d event in a far superior time than the top selection who campaigned a few hours later. The lightly raced daughter of Captain Al does concede 2.5kgs to the first selection though.
