The pace should be true in this small field and the juvenile SEATTLE SOUND is expected to go very well on her first try over the mile. She has progressed smartly since her poor debut and her last run suggested that this trip shouldn’t be an issue.

NORTHERN BALLET raced alone on the standside of the course in the home straight but still kept her form with a solid 2nd to CAN COPE over nine furlongs in yielding conditions five weeks ago. The bay filly is 3kgs better off with her conqueror for that three length defeat and today’s extra furlong hands the initiative to the Snaith inmate.
Race 7: BLACK CAT BACK(5)
BLACK CAT BACK is improving really quickly and he made light work of his classy opposition when again displaying a swift turn of foot over this c & d in yielding conditions five weeks ago. He picked up the resultant six pound penalty but is still weighted to finish ahead of a few of today’s rivals & he has more to offer. The son of Black Minnaloushe can complete the hat-trick in today’s topliner.

The Liquid Dynamite formline should dominate proceedings in this competitive ten furlong contest. Of course just over one length separated the first five entrants that day with the 5th placed runner, OUR EMPEROR having the fewest efforts and undoubtedly the most scope. The inmate from the Brett Crawford yard finished strongly despite a slow start over the nine furlongs that day and he will clearly prefer the extra furlong. The Dynasty gelding has his peak showing in just his four career start.
