He would have learnt from the experience and with natural improvement to be expected, he should be right up there when they hit the line.

Jockey: C Dicken – Trainer: P Peter
ILLUSION finished strongly despite being bumped to win over 1160m on debut and gets 4kgs taken off his back for the services of his claiming apprentice. He starts from a handy draw and would have come on from that outing. With the natural improvement that can be expected he should be a big runner here. He does jump in class and distance, but he could be almost anything.

EDEN ROC returns to racing after an 11 week rest, but has a trainer that certainly knows how to get them ready to win on their return to the race track. He was impressive when reeling off three straight wins, before failing when stepping up to the mile. He may prove difficult to beat here.

Jockey: C Murray – Trainer: M De Kock
SOQRAT returns from an 11 week rest and starts from a wide draw, but he’s a class act who has recorded three of his five wins to date over this mile trip.

PONCHIELLI ran on well in her last start over this c&d and has posted two of her six wins so far over this six furlong trip. The 6yr old mare starts from a mid-field draw and it is encouraging that Muzi Yeni has kept faith in her.
