This is a very ordinary maiden contest and PRADA PRINCESS could be rewarded for some consistent form. She finished best of the rest behind easy maiden winner End Game over this distance at the Vaal last month and despite her track record suggesting otherwise, she will have no issues with the tight circuit. Top jockey Andrew Fortune retains the ride on her in her twelfth appearance.

ILITSHE has been plagued with issues but he seemed over them when he won his last start with plenty in hand over nine furlongs at the Vaal. The imported veteran gelding was penalised four pounds for his troubles but he could still realise his earlier potential and have more to offer. The rise in distance won’t be an issue and it is really encouraging that top jockey Fortune retains the ride on the six-year-old who has track experience.
Race 9: TURN BACK TIME(2)
TURN BACK TIME is on the up and her classy last display behind BARCELONA BABE (0.5kg worse off) proved that she is effective away from this tight circuit. The daughter of Trippi tried hard under that big mass but went down narrowly. She is better drawn than her conqueror today and can exact revenge. The Joey Soma inmate still has good scope for improvement and could be worth following.

SAVE THE DAY had excuses when also possibly needing her comeback run on the last day of the year and she will strip much fitter today. She had some useful prior form in stronger company and she stayed on for 2nd behind the speedy MODJADJI (4.5kgs worse off) over this c & d three runs back. She is drawn best of all and can avenge the 1.25 lengths defeat to the latter.
