The 5th placed entrant Awfaa boosted that formline with an impressive subsequent triumph and rather interestingly, her finishing time was three-tenths of a second faster than that of subsequent winner State Trooper who campaigned a mere 35 minutes earlier on in the day. This daughter of Ideal World has much scope for progress and she should take a power of beating.

It isn’t surprising that the improving stayer MARIO LANZA has a change of jockey today and the Judpot gelding can go one better than his last effort which was over slightly further. That said, the imported son of Street Cry will be severely tested in this stronger contest.
