1. Hunt played as a right-back for Hellenic F.C between 1981 and 1994.
2. He gave Benni McCarthy his professional debut when coaching Seven Stars in 1995.
3. Hunt is the only coach to win the PSL title for three years in a row, having done so with SuperSport United between 2008 and 2010. He has four league titles to his name as a coach with his most recent triumph coming with the Bidvest Wits in 2017.
4. Hunt has won every domestic trophy on offer throughout his coaching career.
5. He has 21-year old twin daughters.
