Former Sundowns defender Thabo Nthethe who was part of the squad that won the prestigious continental tournament takes us back to what went down for the Pretoria giants the year they won the Caf Champions League under coach Pitso Mosimane.

“I started working with coach Pitso closely when I came to Sundowns at the time we would meet a week (before) for that particular match (to map way forward).  To see him how hard he works and how he takes his job seriously to lead and guide us on how to play was exciting,” said Nthethe.

“It was humbling to see Coach Pitso doing his things and how he used to make us believe that we are a good team and we needed to put in extra effort.”
