Lucas Costa (2), Lesiba Nku and Peter Shalulile got the goals in the first leg as Sundowns romped to an emphatic 4-0 victory in the Azam Complex Stadium.

The Sundowns juggernaut rolls on as they have now won all eight of their opening DStv Premiership fixtures. Since the win over Bumamuru, Downs beat Orlando Pirates 1-0, Kaizer Chiefs 2-1 and Stellenbosch 3-1 to take nine points from three tough matches.

Bumamuru played to a 1-1 draw with Moso Sugar since the meeting with Sundowns as their other scheduled match was postponed.

The Burundi outfit will hope that their leading scorers Mokono Elie Eldinho and Ali Shabani Valentin who have each netted three goals find their scoring touch against the Brazilians but they face an uphill task to overturn a commanding lead held by the favourites.
