EPIC STORM and FLYING SQUADRON renew their rivalry in this contest, with the former getting the nod as she is 0.5kgs better off at today’s weights for a half-length beating over this c&d last time out and she also has her peak run here. The latter is unbeaten in two starts over the c&d and should keep the former honest. We can look forward to a closely contested encounter.

EXALTATION has had excuses in his last three outings and deserves a change in luck. He stumbled at the start of his last outing over the c&d and did well to only finish 0.75L behind the winner. He cast a shoe in his penultimate outing and raced wide in the run before that. From a handy draw, he should be right up there in the mix.

A tricky F&M Handicap ends off today’s program. The tentative first selection goes to REBEL WILSON who seldom finishes too far off the action. She was slow into stride in her last outing over this c&d, but was running on well to finish just two lengths behind at the wire. She starts from a good draw and should be right up there with the leaders when they reach the winning post.

In that race, EXCLUSIVITY finished 0.75L behind the former, but is 2.5kgs better off at today’s weights, which should be enough for the tables to be turned. She was running on well that day and her jockey will have learnt from the ride. Her last start over ten furlongs was a little disappointing, but that was on the grass and she should put in a better performance back on the poly
