Race 1
BLACK DYNAMITE and ESPRESSO LASS renew their rivalry today. The former finished one length in front of the latter in their last clash over 1100M, but is 4kgs worse off at today’s weights. Under normal circumstances that should be enough for that result to be reversed, but the top choice gets the nod as he seems better over the longer trip and is more consistent. MYTHICAL TRUST goes back over the six furlongs and has cracked pole position. He should chase the top selections home. LOOKUSOVER is a 5yr old mare who improved last time out over this trip and should be considered in this line-up.

Race 2
INDISISIVE is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she has finished second in her last two outings and will be hoping to go one better today. She is drawn wideish at gate seven, but she still looks to be the one to side with here. CARSON DRIVE is seldom far off the action and from a handy two draw, he should put in another honest performance today. OLD BAILEY finished 0.6L in front of SCENIC CHARM when they last raced over this c&d and as they meet on the same weight terms today, the result of that contest should be confirmed, particularly as the latter has a wider draw to deal with.

Race 3
This looks a tricky race and some caution is advised. The tentative first pick goes to HAYSTACKS who won three runs back over the seven furlongs and has put in two fair efforts over the trip since then. He faces a wide draw of ten, but should still be respected in this field. TESTA DE LAGO drops back in trip from the mile when 4.3L behind the winner and may do better over this shorter distance. RUFUS also drops back from the mile and did win over the seven furlongs three runs back. A repeat of that effort would make him a contender today. MADRID CENTRO, on the other hand, steps up in trip from his last outing over 1100M. He was making good late progress that day and should appreciate the extra ground here.

Race 4
COOL DYNAMITE is a 5yr old mare taking on males, but she won her last outing over the c&d and from her seven gate, she should give the boys a good run for their money. I WONDER has his hat-trick attempt here and looks the obvious danger to the top selection. He is stepping up in distance, but he should find the extra ground to his liking. DANEFIN will need to repeat his effort of three runs back when he won over the seven furlongs to trouble the top two selections. THE CHORISTER steps up in trip and will get 3kgs removed from his back thanks to his claiming apprentice which will help his cause.

Race 5
SCOTOPIA has improved in his last two runs, winning his latest over the c&d despite being friendless in the betting market. He has pulled pole position and could complete his double today. KHAN has put in two solid outings recently and should be involved in the finish here. BITOVEMU is a 4yr old filly taking on boys, but she won her last start over six furlongs and should be right at home over the shorter distance. CHISANO is a 5yr old mare who finished 2.9L behind the top choice last time out over this c&d. She does meet her conqueror on 1.5kg better terms which should bring them closer together, but may not be enough for the tables to be turned.

Race 6
SEA TRYST won his last start over a mile and takes a hike up in distance here, but he did finish fourth over this trip in his penultimate run over the c&d. He has gate two and looks to be the value in the race. ADMIRAL PROMO has solid staying form to his credit. He drops down from eleven furlongs, but he could be the biggest threat to the top choice. FRENCH ESCAPE likes to race up with the pace in his races and although stepping up in distance, he may prove to be difficult to peg back in the closing stages of the contest. GLEN ALBYN steps up from the mile of his last outing when finishing a running on third, just 0.7L behind the victor. He could be a factor here.

Race 7
MAKFI AMOUR showed good improvement last time out over the c&d when just beaten half a length. He found plenty of betting support that day and from pole position, he should be a big runner here. ASHBURN missed out on his hat-trick last time out over seven furlongs. He was only run out of it late and on that showing, he should enjoy the drop-down to six furlongs. STELLAR IGNITION finished third last time out over the c&d, 1.2L behind the victor. He will get 3kgs taken off his allocated weight courtesy of his claiming apprentice. FASCINATION was two lengths behind the winner in his last outing over this c&d and will have a 2kg claiming apprentice in the irons today. He will jump from gate three and should not be lightly dismissed.
