GOLDEN DUCAT showed signs of needing his comeback run over a mile on this course. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from six starts on this course. The high-quality son of Philanthropist should strip a much fitter horse today and can return to the winner’s enclosure.

BELGARION won a very good race in the Grade 2 WSB Green Point Stakes last time. He was switched off at the rear of the field that day and finished his race off powerfully. He is unbeaten from three starts over this C&D and should keep that record intact.

WARRIOR has shown good improvement in each of his outings thus far. He was bumped at the start, hung in the latter stages and was caught in the shadow of the post over this C&D last time. The son of Futura is a progressive type and with a bit of luck in running, should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
