Race 1 – No 10 IMPERIAL ALCAZAR
Trainer: Fergal O’Brien
Jockey: Paddy Brennan
IMPERIAL ALCAZAR beat Green Dolphin in a Newbury bumper in March and can confirm his superiority as the pair switch to hurdling. The selecti9n was beaten two lengths by House Island and showed that a bit of cut in the ground suits him. His stable has made a solid start to the season, he’s schooled well and can open his account.
Race 5 No 1 FRODON
Trainer: Paul Nicholls
Jockey: Bryon Frost
The featured Old Roan Chase can go the way of the high class FRODON, winner of the Ryanair Chase at this year’s Cheltenham Festival. While the Nicholls stable suffered a couple of costly reverses last week it looks to have one hand on this limited handicap who won the corresponding race off a similar weight in 2018. He has to give lumps of weight to some classy rivals including Kalashnikov but is reported to be raring to go.
