RACE 1

TAILOR MADE found
a form return last time when finishing runner-up behind DAILY CHARM. He is drawn wide, but is now 3kgs better off at the
weights for a 2L defeat and must have a chance of going one better. SHANGAI DRAGON is much better than his
moderate last start suggests. He finished 0.8L behind the winner in his
penultimate run on this course and should be fresh having been rested for just
over a month.

RACE 2

SUPER TEN looks
nicely handicapped especially with his claiming apprentice taking 3kgs off the
back. He went from gun to tape in his last start and may look to adopt similar
tactics this afternoon. LAND POWER placed third last time on this
course and is still relatively unexposed. With the natural progression that is
expected, he can pose a threat to the top selection. SAM’S LOVE produced a fair effort after a three-month layoff. He
will strip a much fitter horse and can run into the money.

RACE 3

GLORIOUS ARTIST
is in search of a hat-trick of wins. Has faces a much stiffer task but is in
the best form of his career. He likes to generally race off the pace and he is
likely to be picking off the frontrunners in the dash to the wire. KING’S SHIELD is a classy sort on the
dirt track. He will want to get a win under his belt to qualify for the Dubai
World Cup Carnival and it will be no surprise to see him end up the winner’s
enclosure. ELUSIVE STATE is 3.5kgs
better off with the top selection for a 2.25L defeat which may be just enough
to turn the tables and he shouldn’t be discounted.

RACE 4

CROWN AVENUE
followed up his recent win with a decent third place finish behind DOUBLE TAKE. He is 2kgs better off now
for a 2.75L defeat and they look set to fight out the finish of this contest. SO AWESOME is never far off the winner.
He has good consistent form lines prior to his last start and if putting his
best foot forward then he can run into the money.

RACE 5

SUPER RED DRAGON
pulled of back-to-back wins before disappointing last time. He switches back to
turf and has the ability to get back to winning ways. CLASSIC POSH will benefit from a 3kgs claiming apprentice in this
contest. He will be fresh after a two-month layoff and if fit should make his
presence felt. LITTLE PRAYER
produced a fair last effort when beaten a couple of lengths be Here Comes Ted.
He is drawn wide but Purton retains the ride and he can run into the money.

RACE 6

This is a very competitive race where some caution is
advised. INNO LEGEND is the narrow
first selection. He brings the most consistent form into this race and looks
difficult to oppose. He finished close-up last time in a blanket finish and
will be looking to make amends this afternoon. EVERYONE’S DELIGHT is the top rating. He has good prior form prior
to his flat last run and despite shouldering top weight he should find a swift
return to form. JUDY’S STAR has
completed the quartet in his last two starts. He is drawn wide but likes to
come from off the pace and will be doing his best work late.

RACE 7

FORTE followed up
his debut win with a decent second-place finish when beaten by CARROLL STREET. He is 7.5kgs better off at the weights for a 1.75L defeat
and that should definitely be enough to turn the tables. PING HAI BRAVO failed to pull off the hat-trick last time when he
found one better in the form of Wellington. He is drawn wide and shoulders top
weight but should give another good account of himself.

RACE 8

PARTY EVERYDAY
has been an absolute model of consistency and finished runner-up behind TURIN REDSTAR last time. He is 2.5kgs
better off at the weights for a narrow 0.8L defeat and with Teetan retaining
the ride he definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing
pundits. BIZ POWER was only beaten
0.8L last time by All For South. He is drawn best of all and only has 50kgs to
shoulder.

RACE 9

The manner in which WELLINGTON
win his comeback outing suggests there is plenty more to come from this
individual. He has won four from five starts on this course and should take a
power of beating. CLASSIC UNICORN is
speedy sort that was only pipped by a long-neck last time. If reproducing that
type of effort he may be difficult to peg back in the closing stages. BEAUTY APPLAUSE is always thereabouts.
He was only beaten 0.5L last time and reunites with Moreira who may be able to
coax a little extra out of the son of Stratum.

RACE 10

MY SUGAR
absolutely trounced his rivals last time. He put 4L between himself and
Casimiro last time and it is encouraging that Teetan has kept faith in the
ride. The manner in which she powerfully drew away from them suggests there may
be another win in the tank. KA YING
EXCELLENT
followed up his recent win with a smart effort on Boxing Day. He
is racing at peak fitness and should make his presence felt once again. ROMANTIC COMBO has placed third in his
last two outings. He shoulders just 51.5kgs in this contest and can feature in
the lucky last.
