BAVARIAN JET set the pace over 1300m last time, but was outrun late by Onnetilia. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The daughter of Pomodoro tries the 1400m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she should be hard to peg back.

VERIFIED showed good improvement in his last start over 1400m, but was caught in the shadow of the post by Global Beat. The drop to 1200m should not pose an issue and in this type of field, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

CANE LIME ‘N SODA ran a good race in his first run after returning from a 13-week break. He has won once and finished third twice from as many starts over this C&D. The 6yo gelding meets the right field this afternoon and can notch up his sixth career victory.
