IN CAHOOTS got up late when winning his last start over 1200m on the Vaal Classic course. He has won once and finished second once from four starts on this course. He takes a drop in class and if all went well with his travels, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure. He is carded to race on 08 May 2022 and his progress in that race will need to be monitored.

FEVER should have finished closer in his last start over 1550m on this course as he hung in the straight and his pilot dropped his reins at the 150m mark. He finished 2.5 lengths behind GALABIER in his penultimate effort and is 3kgs better off at the weights. That should be enough for the tables to be turned. He has won three times and finished third once from seven starts over this C&D. Serino Moodley steps back into the saddle and he should be the horse to beat.
