ELLORIX has good recent form lines to her credit. She should have won her last start over 1200m as she hung in the final 300m. The daughter of Vercingetorix should be at home over 1100m. She is having her peak run today and may be rewarded for consistency.

PLUM PUDDING moved up like a winner in her last start over this C&D, but was outrun late by Hampstead Heath. The daughter of Silvano is a progressive type and with a bit of luck from her awkward draw of eight, she should go one better.

SAN PEDRO set the pace over this C&D last time, but was outrun late by Itsrainingwilliam. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. He has won twice and finished second twice from six starts over this distance. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. Luyolo Mxothwa retains the ride and the combination may be hard to peg back.

He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He has won once, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this C&D. If putting his best foot forward, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
