PERFECT PRINCESS ran a decent race on debut over the minimum trip on this course. She understandably raced green that day, but the manner in which she stayed on at the finish was encouraging. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The daughter of Captain Al would have come on from the run and will enjoy the extra furlong on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should win this.

TWICETHEQUALITY ran a very good race on debut over seven furlongs at Durbanville. She understandably raced green that day, but stayed on well at the business end. The daughter of Twice Over will enjoy the extra furlong on offer today and she should be the one they all have to beat.

TROOP THE COLOUR has good consistent form lines to his credit. He was not disgraced when finishing third in the PE Gold Cup last time. The 6yo gelding has won once and finished third twice from six starts over this C&D. Oswald Noach steps back into the saddle today and he can notch up his third career victory.
