SHINEALOT is drawn wide but Purton may give Moreira another ding dong battle in this contest. THE FULL BLOOM placed last time out over seven furlongs and if staying this distance then he can run into the places.

BRIGHT KID is an Aussie-bred gelding that has performed admirably in his last two outings under Purton and should arguably be going for the hat-trick this afternoon. The form of his last run has worked out well and he will take a power of beating in this contest. WINSTON’S LAD won impressively under Ho last time out and he jumps from a neat draw this afternoon. FARM BUMBER has an outside barrier but he has Magic Moreira in the saddle and should get across without using too much energy.

GALLANT LEGACY is drawn wide but if he can overcome his wide barrier to race-up with the speed then he will definitely be in the shake-up. SUPER KIN is not the most consistent sort but he placed in his penultimate at this course and looks a real threat to the top selection. Rider Callan has interestingly opted to ride HERO STAR over the second selection and he can upset in this contest.
