Race 3
WREN PLUCKED is a three-year-old filly taking on the boys. She showed good improvement last time out over six furlongs and despite a wideish draw of nine, she could be the one to be with here. TOP RUNG finished third last time out over six furlongs when returning from a 55-week break. If not needing one more run, he could pose a threat to the former. ANNMARIE is a five-year-old mare who is drawn out at twelve. She drops back in trip from her last two outings and may do better as a result. JOMERA is a three-year-old filly who stayed on well last time out over this distance. Jumping from gate 4, she should be involved in the finish today.
Race 4
SUCH A WHIT followed up his maiden win over 1100M with a solid second-place finish over this c&d. He is drawn wide at ten, but he should be right up there when they hit the line. OUTSPOKEN on the other hand has cracked pole position. He ran on strongly to win his last start over 1100M and looks the biggest threat to the former. TYRANNIZE finished third in his last outing over five furlongs and is drawn in gate nine, but he should use his early gate speed to get across without using up too much energy. MALVAGIO improved in his last start over the c&d and if he is able to confirm that effort, he should be respected in this line-up.
Race 5
Two fillies could dominate the finish of this race by completing the exacta. DAWLISH finished third over the c&d in her first start after winning her maiden race over 1100M. From her handy three draw, she should be seen as a big runner here. GOLDIE’S ARCHER has a wideish draw, but she won going away last time out over the c&d and represents the biggest threat to the former. MAGIC CODY followed up his maiden victory over 1100M with an encouraging next start over the c&d and should not be overlooked. STELLA STARLITE is a five-year-old mare who drops in trip after finishing 3.4L behind the winner last time out when returning from a 36-week break.
Race 6
LAST CHANCE showed marked improvement last time out when finishing 1.3L behind the winner over this c&d. That was his first outing since a 20-week rest and if he is able to repeat that effort he should be right up there in the mix. FRUGAL returns from a 25-week break and has not had a barrier trial. He did, however, finish close up in his last outing over six furlongs and if not too much in need of the run, be should pose a danger to the top choice. JETS CRACKER has consistent formlines to his credit and should put in another honest performance today. ALL EEZ has his first run since a 13-week rest. He seldom finishes too far off the winner and if returning fit, he is one to be considered here.
Race 7
This looks to be a very competitive race and finding the winner is no easy task. CYCLONE FUGITIVE has consistent form to his name and although drawn wideout at gate eleven, he should put in another honest performance here. RAIDEN goes for his hat-trick after winning his last start over 1100M. He jumps from a mid-field draw and the trio of wins is very much on the cards. CASINO THOUGHTS has his first start in 12 weeks and for his new trainer. If fully acclimatized in his new environment, he should be respected here based on some of his better form before his relocation. JACK LANCASTER finished fifth, just 2.3L behind the winner last time out over 1100M and should be included in all bets.
Race 8
Another tricky race faces punters here. PROANE won his last outing over 1100M at this venue when friendless in the betting market. He is drawn in gate seven and although taking a step up in distance, he should be right up there in the firing line. CORPORAL has shown steady improvement in his latest two runs, beaten 0.3L last time out over 1500M. The drop in trip is sure to be to his liking. QUIDNI attracted plenty of betting support when just one length back over 1100M last time out. He is drawn one from the outside, but he will be doing his best work late. CINNAMON MISSILE is drawn only one inside the latter. He has his first run for his new trainer, but if settled into his new surroundings, he could challenge the top three on some of his better form.
Race 9
ADDICTED has his hat-trick attempt here after winning his last outing over 1615M. He has a handy five draw and could secure the treble today. RAISE AN ARMY won his last start over 1500M when finishing strongly, suggesting that the extra distance will be to his liking. FEATHER YOUR NEST is a four-year-old filly taking on the boys. She also won her latest outing over 1500M and she should ensure that the males know that they have been in a race. DON’T DOUBT LARA is a four-year-old filly who steps up in trip after finishing a close up fourth last time out over seven furlongs. She is not without some sort of chance here.
