LUCY BELLE is one of the better bets on today’s card. She showed good improvement in her last start over six furlongs on this course. She raced from a handy position that day and stayed on well at the finish. The daughter of Oratorio will enjoy the extra 250m on offer today and from her mid-field draw, she should be the one to beat.

SENESCENCE is the best bet on this afternoon’s programme. She is yet to finish out of the first three in all four starts. The manner in which she races suggests that she will be at home over the ten furlongs. Gavin Lerena knows the daughter of Elusive Fort well and the combination should find themselves in the winner’s enclosure.

ULULATE followed up her maiden win with a another good victory over this C&D. Despite shifting at the 200m mark, she ran on well to win. She takes on a similar type of field this afternoon and with Lyle Hewitson in the saddle, can notch up the hat-trick.

Jockey: Danielson R – Trainer: Janse van Vuur
COPPER MOUNTAIN was ultra-impressive when winning his maiden over the minimum trip at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The manner in which he drew away from the field in the closing stages that day, caught the eye. He faces a lot stronger this afternoon, but the son of Noble Tune looks to be above average and should be up to the task at hand.
